It pisses me off when people are like this. My mother is just like the person describes. " Racist comments". That makes me so angry.
There are several foreigners living in Norway ( And I am one of them, but I've lived here for... 17 years so .. ) When we talk about foreigners, she ALWAYS trash talks somebody. You cannot stop everyone from being this way. Racism has always and shall always exist, sadly. You shouldn't curse at your mother or be angry with her. Instead, you should forgive her and ignore the racist comments she makes. Even if she is racist, or a xenophobe, she is still your mother. ^^

This is my biggest one right now.
I spend the first 2 hours of my workday doing jackshit but reading TL and surfing the net. I come in late, take long lunches, log longer hours, and never contribute to the company "daily coffee run fund." Once the managers come in, I go at regular work speed (while still browsing TL) to somewhat offset my absolute morning ritualistic laziness.
When the company was downsizing, our staff was literally cut in half and many people were laid off. I got picked over those who had families and children to support. These were hard working people. I'm young, make more money than I need, and take way too much for granted. The layoffs were based off pure performance.
I go out almost every day and weekend nights and selfishly spend copious amounts of "entertainment money" with friends knowing there's people out there with mouths to feed. Clubs, bars, expensive food, clothing, etc. I don't feel like I'm a consumer whore par-say, but damn, I need to get my priorities straight... I feel terrible but my TL brothers, it feels good to get this off my chest.

I do the same thing, browse TL from work all day long.
I work at the IT departement and I'm considered one of the best member in my crew.
I could work so harder but ppl are happy about the work I do and i'm happy browsing TL.
I know (and you should) that all major buisness have websense (or some http filter) and they log everything that you do. So 1 guy know that you visit TL all day long but because of Unions he can't say it to your boss.

Well the main problem of the matter was not really dryness, more tightness.
