The way the site's community reacted was so hateful and closed minded that I think I'll just take a pass though. Hi Orbifold, Please stop by Authonomy in a few days (it's down for 'Maintenance' right now). Why? Because the people who populate the Authonomy forums are just a fraction of the people who are busy reading and critiquing other people's works. That's not meant to deride people who prefer to spend some time on the Authonomy forums, it's just meant to point out that there are many others on Authonomy who you haven't heard from. I've been on Authonomy since November and I've found the people there to be friendly and helpful and serious about improving their/others' writing. Give us a try. Al (CarolinaAl on Authonomy)

However, by implication K's relevant posting of his link to his book on authonomy makes any other link to authonomy also relevant. I sign all my posts, regardless of forum, web site, email. I think it's polite. R

Hi InToTheWannaB, There are excerpts (minimum of 10,000 words) of thousands of unpublished books on Authonomy. Fiction and non-fiction. Poetry and short story collections, too. All genres from children's stories to erotica. All searchable by genre. Some authors have uploaded their entire books. It's a wonderful place for readers . . . and writers. Thanks for visiting. Please come back soon. Al (CarolinaAl on Authonomy)

Hey now, Nicholas T. Shadow worked for years refining those strategies, you don't call someone's life work "a joke" without good reason. Cartography and tan-olive skin are skills that one does not simply pick up in a day. Regardless, the minds behind "Shadow Rush" have decided it's too harmful to the site and have taken it down at Klazart's request. Not sure if it'll really keep his book from deletion, but every little bit helps amirite? I feel bad for all the people that were unable to read "Shadow Rush", especially the 10,000 word third chapter titled "500 of my posts in a row".

That's why when he linked to it, it was relevant. If your logic is correct, it would mean that the following example is also true: Let's say there is a thread on Team Liquid about the 2008 election. If I link a story that is on CNN.com that deals with the election, then you have the right to post any story on CNN.com that you wish, no matter how far away from the subject matter. Clearly, the above example is laughably false. So, too, is your logic faulty.

If we take the election thread example, and someone wanted to illustrate misrepresentation by cnn of the election by giving an example of another way in which cnn had misrepresented a different story, that would be acceptable. If no deviations from the total core of a thread are allowed, then comments about k's commentaries and links to them or links to k's commentaries or off-thread comments on those commentaries are similarly not allowed. I want to seen some evidence in how wrong I am Well the first one that was notable on youtube was Superiorwolf who was later overshadowed by Klaz because he was able to produce more commentaries and had much more enthusiasm which people really liked. He was probably the one that got the ball rolling really.

He might not have been the first one but he defenetly is the most succesfull one, hes getting alot of views on his commentated videos and is the reason alot of people including me got into starcraft. I wanna know why everyone seems to dislike Klaz, i mean hes contributed alot to sc and the esports scene. Why do people seem to have some kind of beef with him?

This thread is to discuss his book and authonomy.com, please stay on topic. If we head down the "why do people hate Klaz?" road, the result will be lots of bans and closings. Let's just say people have a lot of different opinions on which commentators are good and leave it at that. Consider this an official warning, 2 day temp bans for people that keep bringing this up.
