I can only imagine they did this because they cbf playing longish games and just wanted to get it over and done with. Pretty sad if that's how it worked out. | ||

Tournaments like IEST are about giving the fans something to watch. It's a spectator sport. IEST brings in Koreans because they know Koreans are skilled and IEST wants their viewers to watch high-caliber games. Perhaps there is no agreement or contract that players have to sign that would disqualify them, but their actions betray the entire point of the event. Fans want to know who the champion is, not who are the co-champions. | ||
