If this thread turns into a USPMT 2.0, we will not hesitate to shut it down. Do not even bother posting if all you're going to do is shit on the Democratic candidates while adding nothing of value. Rules: - Don't post meaningless one-liners. - Don't turn this into a X doesn't stand a chance against Trump debate. - Sources MUST have a supporting comment that summarizes the source beforehand. - Do NOT turn this thread into a Republicans vs. Democrats shit-storm. This thread will be heavily moderated. Expect the same kind of strictness as the USPMT.

He tanked so hard before I'd guess being endorsed by Buttigieg and Klobuchar gave him a good boost, as was a good deal of the Super Tuesday states being represented by Southern states with a larger demographic of moderates and black voters who support Biden over Sanders.

This is turning out to be terrible for Bernie.

Congrats on (at least) 4 more years Trump I mean that's the feeling they want his supporters to have, realistically he can still pretty easily get a plurality, but media, establishment dems, and loyalists will carry Biden in a 2nd round vote. Still plenty of time for Biden to collapse under scrutiny and remind people why he lost his other presidential runs though.

Let it radicalize you, or watch the world burn, they both have their appeal for myself tbh. The bootlicking from others is gross though, so keep not doing that.

Is it that the progressives won't get behind Biden when the moderates would have got behind Bernie? I'm not sure that is true. Well I'm very disappointed it looks more and more like Biden won, I'm not sure this is better for Trump. There is a lot of love of the Obama years, and Biden is the one who embodies that the most. With the right VP he could beat Trump. He was polling great against him even Fox news had him (and Bernie) beating Trump. The thinking is that Biden is going to pull a Clinton and depress voter turnout with his shitty politics and lack of enthusiasm. I think it's a very real possibility.

Its that Biden inspires precisely nothing resembling excitement, and the Democrats strength is when people get out and vote. Who gives two shits about Biden? Hes utterly unexciting, the blandest, most milquetoast nothing they could throw up. He'll get DESTROYED by Trump in debates (which is an accomplishment since managing cogent sentences will land you a win against Trump in debates) and he runs the risk of just losing because noone can be asked to go and vote for him.

Hunter Biden's adventures in Ukraine can be exploited like Clinton's emails, allowing Trump to bring back the "drain the swamp" chants. Biden is probably second easiest candidate for Trump to attack (Warren is obviously the easiest).
