It's amazing how Biden was able to survive the debate by claiming he was the one who was going to do immediate action if he was president during a pandemic.
Flash forward a week:
Sanders - Using his grassroots movement to solicit charity donations, help people check in on each other, and ask people to call senators in support of his relief bill.
Biden - Is possibly still alive, we think. It's hard to tell.

I think, short of them having a gun to their heads, the DNC will nod along to anything Joe says. Even if it's one word. It's some of the most transparent bias I've ever seen from non-Trump supporters.

Wisconsin is going on with it's primary on the 7th as of today. They are calling in the National Guard to work the polls. Already overwhelmed with absentee ballots it's unclear whether all the votes will even be counted.
MADISON - Gov. Tony Evers has agreed to use members of the Wisconsin Army National Guard to work at the polls during the April 7 election amid a massive shortage of poll workers that is leaving some communities without anyone to give voters ballots on Election Day.
More than 100 communities in Wisconsin don't have any poll workers for the spring election in six days and a record number of voters are overwhelming clerks with absentee ballots — leading to warnings that thousands of votes may not be counted.

Obviously grossly irresponsible and dangerous in my view. Further detracts form any semblance of validity the primary will have as well.

Sanders has come out and called for the Wisconsin primary to be delayed and is saying that people shouldn't have to endanger themselves and family members to vote
Sen. Bernie Sanders has called on Wisconsin to postpone its primary next Tuesday amid concerns that voters and poll workers could be exposed to coronavirus.
According to CNN Health, the state has recorded more than 1,300 Covid-19 cases and seen nearly two dozen deaths. "People should not be forced to put their lives on the line to vote, which is why 15 states are now following the advice of public health experts and delaying their elections," Sanders said in a statement on Wednesday. "We urge Wisconsin to join them."
He also called on the state to extend early voting, once the election has been pushed back, and "work to move entirely to vote-by-mail." In the meantime, Sanders encouraged his supporters to cast their ballots through the mail.

Meanwhile the DNC is planning to penalize states delegates for delaying past June 9th which several have done as a public safety measure.

If you think about it, it's a clever way to not only stifle any chances of Bernie making a comeback by making earlier primaries matter more, but to also demonstrate that they are exactly the same kind of people who would use a disastrous pandemic as a chance to profit themselves. Their character, or lack thereof - like Trump's - is being exposed in this time of crisis.

Why can't you just have mail-in voting?
It's what they did for the elections here in Bavaria. Mail-in is usually a choice, for the elections on the 29th they just made it mandatory.

That's expecting too much from the voters, it'd be pretty much voter suppression!

You'd be surprised how many people don't even know about the option of mail-in voting. Then of course there's always the scare tactics of the shadowy "someone" intercepting the votes and changing them or disappearing them.

Takes infrastructure/systems we don't have. Some of these states it is just a person in an office stuffing envelopes by hand. That works if you have to send out a couple hundred over a week. But if that's suddenly every eligible person in your jurisdiction that method isn't viable.
Beyond the logistical struggle, same reason for all the other stuff, to disenfranchise particular groups of voters imo.

What baffles me, is why, after Trump refused to answer if uninsured people will get tested, Sanders didnt mention anything about his Medicare for all and how that would work with the Coronavirus. That seem like few sentences gaining him quite a bit of votes during the time like this.

Sanders has been saying medical expenses relating to Corona viruses should be waived, and that M4A would make it free baseline, for WEEKS now.

Meanwhile Biden is rambling about still trying to preserve employer based care with something like 20 million newly unemployed people by the end of the month. "BlueMAGA" is one of the best ways I've heard Biden/supporters described imo.
