CoS is probably the worst Tyrannical instance. the 2nd and 3e boss have group wide ramping up unavoidable AoE damage that is just going to utterly wreck you.

Boomkin sucks for dungeons in my experience - awful numbers outside of boss fights, bad interrupts.. it can feel like playing half a man down sometimes.
If you stack so that you can sidestep the fire at imp spawn and all of the imps spawn on top of each other, you can blow them up in a few seconds every spawn. I don't think i've ever seen anyone just die to the boss but i've probably not done it over level 6 or 7 either

And yea I'm disc. I think it would be far worse as holy, because shadowmend with grace is actually the best flash heal type spell in the game, plus I can shield and penance boss on the move. Still, hardest fight I've been at this expansion, our mythic raid progress hasn't felt this hard at all. This is just one of those bosses you do not want to do with tyrannical. Maybe if we had an arms warrior who would have killed the boss while the rest of us survive, but 2 boomies + a lock is definately not a good setup for this shit. Way too much movement required.
It's also not like we fucked it up or anything. We had tries where we avoided all avoidable damage, yet couldn't keep up. If anyone gets hit by anything, it snowballs to shit real quick coz of the debuff you get (10% more dmg taken, stacks). There's only so much you can do when the boss melees the tank to 10% hp while your healer has to somehow get away from a pocket of 3 tornadoes, a lightning strike at the feet, a tsunami coming from behind while the fucking zone wide winds are pushing you backwards. You simply can't stop to cast.

Wrath of Azshara is the kind of boss BLizzard probably never tested in a real difficulty with only casters to concider release without nerfing it. That shit is insane, you cannot cast ever after the cry of wrath.

Alright, me and farvacola are about to create 'Fluid' (see what I did there) on Cenarius-Alliance.
I'm not the type to bother people for guild signatures so the guild isn't actually created yet. Add me on battle.net (GTR#11844) as we need 3 more to get the guild going.
Also message if you want an invite into the guild. Proper structuring etc. will come soon once enough people get into the guild itself.

Shadowpriest overall is stronger right now in raids Boomkin is middle of the pack but quite solid nonetheless, both specs suck ass for Mythic+ though
You can however complete Mythic+ as Resto or Holy/Disc (or even Guardian which is very strong) right now, getting an offspec as long as you have a few levels of high AK is quite doable.

It seemed to me in the upper middle bracket when i last looked but idk. Seems like a spec trinkets/set bonuses could break really hard tbh. Moonkin i mean.

Spriests are pretty bad for lower M+ but as the bosses get enough hp to be worth surrendering on they becomes really really good.

ok thanks for the heads up. I'll give the game a try for a few months. don't want to pay money for sub cause I think it triggers a psychological sunk cost obligation feeling in me, whereas I can elect to grind a bit if I like the game.

Have done over 100mythic+ (average >2 chests each) already, ~30 raid bosses, pretty low chance of getting legendaries

I got mine from heroic godking skovald on a char that was 110 for like 20 hours. My priest with 15days playtime still doesnt have one.

MFW our Enh Sham bonus roll the Bloordthirsty Instinct with gemslot BEFORE looting it, with gem slot as well, on Ursoc in the same kill.. but can't give any of them because he didn't have better before looting it.
