There's other stuff like the boomkin artifact ability that is fine in PVE but kinda weird in PVP

Leech is affected by pvp template isn't it? As well as Haste.

Did they remove the ability to put an enchant illusion on transmogged artifacts? It used to be you couldn't put an illusion on the artifact but if you transmogged the artifact into another weapon appearance then you could put an illusion on that. Now it's not possible to do that either? I feel like it's probably a bug because they recently added all these illusions to the game in the Legion pre-patch and now I can't use them on any character playing Legion.

Oh btw about potion and flask costs: They should go down in any case as herbalists get rank 3 gathering for the herbs. Rank 3 supposedly results in getting a ton more, like when rank 3 people go gathering together and gather the same herbs, they end up getting several times as many as they otherwise would.

Yes, some rank3 herb abilities give you extras. Not sure how aethril one works yet, but even if you do get extra, roses are still base 1 per node. It's not gonna get drastically better and it's required for everything worth doing.

I had this a couple days ago. They basically said no, they can't do anything except reset the instance. Obviously by that point (3-4 days later) it had already reset anyway so I gained nothing.

Yeah but two people can gather the same herb and benefit from each other's rank 3 procs. So compared to someone with rank 2 gathering solo, all these rank 3 herb gathering groups are gonna be bringing in like 3x or more as many herbs as people have been thus far. It really should drastically change. Whether it drastically changes prices for people on the AH is a different story. But as for a guild trying to gather mats for their own progression, it gets much more efficient when there are several people with rank 3.

Not a herber - doesn't rank 3 starlight roses just give you 100% chance of actually getting 1 herb from the node? Anything else?

Yeah obviously rank 3 starlight rose is nice to have but I'm talking about rank 3 aethril "Gathering herbs in the Broken Isles may cause additional herbs to appear." You get a group together and they gather the same herb and each one has a chance to proc a new herb, they all gather the new herb and each one has a chance to proc another herb. You can get chains of multiple herbs all off one herb spawn. IDK the proc rates and the actual data. I've never actually done it myself and I'm not even playing a character with gathering atm.

So you compare a server where people are gathering starlight rose without even having rank 3 starlight rose, so they're getting less than 1 per spawn, versus a server where groups of herbalists with rank 3 aethril and rank 3 starlight rose benefit from each other's procs... You end up with the server having many times more of that herb.

All I'm saying is that regardless of any blood trade-ins that become available in the future, we should be seeing more herbs/flasks as people progress. It's not like a server had reached its maximum production as soon as all the spawns were being camped, which is what I thought was the case.

Because herbs stay up for a little time after gathering so multiple people can gather. Its very efficient and we did a group as a guild to farm starlight rose for flasks.
Its boring but chatting on vent during it makes it bearable..

Nerfing some stuff, they chose to make the 110 AOE talent worse because it wouldn't affect single target. Havoc is still easily one of the great AOE specs without selecting that talent and it's going to stay that way for a long time i guess unless they rework all of your abilities to do less damage to secondary targets. Many of the main hard hitting abilities like Fel Rush just hit everything in range for full damage and many of your main talents support and encourage that.. it's just part of the class design at this point.

Random heroic queue is a trainwreck no matter what class or role they are right now. You can queue as tank and get #1 damage done, #1 healing done at the same time

i've had good experiences w/ the group finder for mythics

dunno just seems proportionate more Demon Hunters, had the same thing in WOTLK for DKs is all. As for herbing/flasking, its pretty expensive but the gold inflation is insane, you can get 800 gold just for doing a single quest. I didn't know you could use the aethril thing on other herbs though, time to farm rank 3 Aethril.

Also I imagine they will turn off some artifacts cause if you get Lights Wrath on Disc priets and you use it on someone it can be very very painfull.

But right now there are so many melee specs that are pretty broken. Mobility, self healing, damage, stuns, all of it is skewed towards melee and against casters/healers right now.

So many melee have effectively ranged interrupts now :-(.
