I still do not understand the hype surrounding Tebow. plenty of mediocre players have gone on as good if not better runs and then bottomed out, but you don't have ESPN discussing Ryan Fitzpatrick/Mark Sanchez/Josh Freeman/Matt Cassel as their top story. Those four guys all have a better shot of making their teams roster too....

His only redeeming factor was that he was definitely a leader and fighting spirit, but that only gets you so far when you lack the talent to apply it with.

It was amazing how many people didn't care he was a shit football player just because he was openly religious and an all around good guy. That's great for him, his family, and the charities he supports, but it doesn't help the Denver Broncos win football games, so weed it out. His only redeeming factor was that he was definitely a leader and fighting spirit, but that only gets you so far when you lack the talent to apply it with. In a league full of Drunk Driving, drug abusing, murdering, sexual assault committing, women and children beaters, being a good guy will get you far. Tebow is just what the NFL needs to clear up its image. I wish him the best of luck.

"He (Jim Harbaugh) does a great job of giving you that spark, that initial boom," Boone said, via NBC Sports. "But after a while, you just want to kick his ass. ... He just keeps pushing you, and you're like, 'Dude, we got over the mountain. Stop. Let go.' He kind of wore out his welcome." Kremer asked Boone to clarify his comments. "I think he just pushed guys too far," the former Ohio State player said. " He wanted too much, demanded too much, expected too much. You know, 'We gotta go out and do this. We gotta go out and do this. We gotta go out and do this.' And you'd be like, 'This guy might be clinically insane. He's crazy.' ... I think that if you're stuck in your ways enough, eventually people are just going to say, 'Listen, we just can't work with this.'" I'm sure there's a limit to things but this just sounds like the 9ers didn't want to work (really) hard. No wonder they were miserable before him and will be miserable henceforth.

If you want to stay on top for any extended amount of time, you keep climbing them rather than sitting on your ass.
