Because their stated foreign policy is to oppose intervention in sovereign states but if Putin wants to distract the West, give them legal justification for annexations of territories where 'Chinese race might be threatened', why not let the Russians do that? | ||

The Russian foreign minister pulled the same thing concerning China that they did with Biden earlier today. The claimed that China supported what they were doing which led to the Chinese foreign minister releasing a statement that Russia misrepresented them. | ||
