At least find someone more realistic to impersonate. 4.0 biomedical engineer, neuroscientist, travel the world, and still has time to run 2 companies and complain on forums. Gtfo out of here LOL.

I think threads of scams should be closed immediately, not because of the illegitimacy but to avoid the drama from developing.

Plus, props to eLeVaTioN for shedding light on the constant scamming in the eSports scene! Keep up the good work! :D

Seriously I make one post and get mocked? I've been playing starcraft and visiting this site before Starcraft 2 even came out. Here is our csl team from when I first started the Purdue Club... + Show Spoiler +
[image loading]
Also yes Nanocloud is in project heart and is the person on the website. Anyway, I'm not going to bother posting on here anymore to get flamed for every post. Especially when the thread is all about someone's personal life instead of talking about great Starcraft games and matches like it should be.

Thanks for bringing this up, OP. Giving Nanocloud's history of compulsive lying and his involvement (indirect maybe but involvement nonetheless) in other scams, it's important to raise questions like these. It seems odd that to have achieved as much as he claims while has shown to been consistently unprofessional and shady. New names? When you try be involved in esports, changing your ID all the time is weird. You want to get known as a good player with integrity so people will want you in their organization. His technique is just silly, tailor made for people who'd rather not have their identity and history be known. Sure, many of these accusations are perhaps not proven and may be false, but you have to do something wrong to have such bad rep. With this in mind, it's easy to understand the necessity for this thread.

While I appreciate Neurotic's calm responses, the truth of the matter is that he addresses very little. Hard confirmations of the clan's legitimacy should not be hard to provide. Things like confirmation of payment by players are simple enough things, yet nobody has stood up. You simply don't become a professional starcraft player overnight, and you'd expect they be active members of the community, and that they would have active accounts on TL..Where is JonSnow to comment? Wannabecool? Days?

Core gaming is most likely a scam, otherwise Neurotic would have provided more straightforward responses. He didn't answer questions about the company funding the team. You don't just have a bunch of disposable income while being a completely unknown company, especially in this economy. Who and where are the amateur players who are just getting paid and getting gears while known professional korean and foreign players remain teamless? Too many holes to believe this, sorry. The only supporters are unknown people part of management, the whole pea_Sea thing is hilarious. OP getting hate mail for studying physics? Just pathetic.
Try another route paperboy.

What about the personal lives of the players on the team? People are concerned and that's why they're taking action.

atm, we have the statements of neurotic and even elevation stating that at least some players confirmed payment. thus I think we have to wait for further details to be revealed before judging.
Also this whole degree discussion is really bugging me: In the working world ppl with degrees work outside their repective fields of study all the time. A Physics degree won't get you into accounting with JP Morgan but we are talking a gaming project here. Having a management composed of members who all have a degree makes them already more professional than most teams out there. Also, many and more start ups are run (or were initially) by ppl without any business degree yet are very successful.

This is crazy because I was actually the very 1st person to accuse Nanocloud of being a fraud about being top 16 gm and bragging about it. I was just tired of hearing this guy say he was beating polt and byun on NA ladder so I did my reasearch I have the chat logs of skype to prove it dating back to May 3 2013. Ive asked him to play me numerous times when i confronted him but declined every time. When I googled his name i was actually amazed to see his acomplishments. Double degree and an ambassador and self-proclaimed top 16 grandmaster in starcraft2? If that really is Nanocloud then why bother lying in starcraft 2 a video game at that? I just dont get it.

[Core] Neurotic, if you are running a legit team, you wouldn't want someone with no integrity and a sense of fairness in your team right? nanocloud proudly points himself out as someone who boosted accounts for others. The evidence is here

[12:28:10 PM] Carlos Grijalva: they offered me money, but the whole thing sounds sketchy
[12:28:34 PM] Hui Shen: tell them you will believe it when you get the rent mone
[12:28:38 PM] Hui Shen: money
[12:28:39 PM] Hui Shen:
[12:28:41 PM] Carlos Grijalva: they wouldnt be able to give me any money until novmber 1st.... idk
[12:28:48 PM] Carlos Grijalva: so yea sketch

Oh god, the above chat log. How does anyone believe these people?! Unless you're getting an actual binding contract from a legitimate organization you should have them either front you payment or something to show they're actually willing to support you as a player. How can you believe this sort of stuff? I feel really sorry for Sonic and the others, but... you guys should get a second opinion or something first. Unless of course, you don't mind jumping from team to team when what they're saying they're going to provide you will never be there @_@;;

edit for the post below: I wanted to hear it from a player, especially with the chat log above. Good for you guys then Hopefully it stays that way~

"That's a bit of a misnomer, you don't get paid actual money. If we were to get big enough, and our leader shows interest in making it an ESports business, that would be a different story. Unfortunately, we're not to that point yet, and I haven't heard of any plans to make it into a business organization. However, if we were to grow large enough that we make a significant enough impact on your play that you were to earn money at some sort of competitive event, then even though you aren't getting paid by the organization, if our stuff was key to helping you get that far, then in a way we helped you get money you wouldn't have had without us. Maybe that kind of counts? It's the best I can think of right now."

After I read this, I didn't have to read anymore. This is a damn shame.

A couple of things I want to point out. First, he claims he's captain of Purdue's starcraft 2 team. Here is there wiki page (Wiki)User:FosTA/Purdue Starcraft Club and their official website on Purdue's database http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~pscc/index.html

I do not have the time to read each post since they are all wall of texts. But just encase if Prudue Starcraft Club is getting some questions about the Wiki page. I only helped with the template .

Its kinda weird to see your name in the opening post about a scam.

Weird cuz when I heard about this team and saw how it was coming to be my immediate instincts once again were that something was not right with it. Some players are taking a leap of faith :o

Nanocloud you are the best man, and you totally don't try to manipulate people and make them do things for you! I totally trust you. PLEASE employ me in one of your 3 companies that you have! You said you would help me with rent and everything!
