Built with advanced in-game overlay functionality and cross-game chat support, Razer Comms allows you to get in touch with your friends without compromising your gameplay. Features:
Crystal clear VoIP Comm In-game UI overlay displaying chat and incoming VoIP Channels easily created and managed for real-time discussions Push-to-Talk functionality for fast and effective communication Game Launcher for quick game access at startup Server-based infrastructure prevents exposure of personal IP address
Best option right there in my opinion. If this is really true, then that means goodbye DDoS attacks. None of my friends have been DDoS so far and I play WoW and there is currently an influx of DDoSers on that game.
I've been using the beta lately and I will not lie, I currently love it. It really does meet my expectations and goes beyond. If you haven't tried it, I suggest you do. I also hope no one has posted this some where. If so just close and go.
But my rating? Five stars out of five so far.

An alternative to Skype! This is actually really cool, especially since my Skype has been bugging out for the past week ^_^
e/ although they will probably make you buy it when it's out of beta so no one will really use it =\

The description for this looks a lot like RaidCall's.

Don't Ventrilo, Teamspeak, Mumble, etc, all use "server-based infrastructure"? How is Razer's implementation different?

Dolby Axon, Google Hangout, Adobe Communicator only alternatives to Skype. This is eerily akin to Azubu's chat client which was based on mumble.
Anyways, "But my rating? Five stars out of five so far." Wtf is this, an infomercial? Your entire post looks like that viral marketing on 4chan from the 'EA worst company' post.

was looking for user feedback, thanks a lot. will keep an eye on this might try it out

I kind of wish people would settle on one universal standard for voice chat. It's really annoying that I need to have all of them installed just because one group of people uses Skype, one group uses Mumble, one group uses Vent, etc.

Oh great! another voice communication system... just what everyone needed, an alternative to the meager RaidCall, Skype, Ventrilo, TeamSpeak, Dolby Axon, Mumble, XFire (?), and Steam (?)!
For the record do Axon and RaidCall use public servers or private servers?
Personally I'm not a fan of any program that won't use the operating system's default GUI. These programs, aside from having the tendency to have other bad qualities (no right click menu, less intuitive, less features, less/no hotkeys/keyboard-navigation), tend to not be easily customizable in font size. So if you just bought a new 'retina' monitor and are running at high resolution, the entire GUI will be very difficult to read.
Aside from that, Razer is one of those few companies where if I got a free teeshirt with their logo I wouldn't wear it in public; that and Facebook/EA/Apple (and maybe even a bit Valve despite good games and innovative practices), but thankfully Facebook has no need to advertise. While I might be mistaken, I look at them as greedy companies that don't seem to have reasonable-enough ethics to care sufficiently about their business practice.

I don't see what this does better than steam tbh <.<

I've had this for a while and I really love it. Had to keep it under wraps beacuse of an nda to get the beta but everyone should try it out. No servers like vent or ts3 but still more secure then skype.
