MBCgame Starleague returns! The first StarCraft II MSL is to be held on next week.
16 players will be seeded into the main event according to their Proleague results (players with most wins are seeded) and other 16 players will be determined in preliminaries.
The entire schedule of the MSL is still being coordinated.
Preliminaries will be held on 3 and 4 April where eSF and KeSPA players are allowed to take part. Map Pool (Official ladder maps from 2013 Battle.net Season 2) : 1st set – Neo Planet S (Ladder version) 2nd set – Star Station (Ladder version) 3rd set – Akilon Wastes (Ladder version)

Broadcast: on MBCGame Channel at 12:00 KST
The group drawings will happen at Mullaedong LOOX HERO Center. The MSL sponsor has not yet been confirmed. If rumours are true Blizzard can sponsor the first StarCraft II MSL.

Honestly, TL April Fool's jokes should just be banned/closed. It's not funny, it's actually just annoying for a large amount of people. Plus, due to how diverse TL is, the time zones will mess up the joke for many people. Like, how it's March 31, 13:47 in USA right now.

only kespa players? i dont think i will pay for this.. if its free, maybe.. but theyre really shooting themselves in the foot leaving out the gsl-players from the initial seeds

Theres always something like this on April fools. So many disappionted people every year. One would thought that people that can be upset by this are also experienced enough to not fall for this. But no, Year after Year.

I didn't know it turned into a music channel because I came in so late that I only got to watch the last one, which was amazing. Jokes can be categorized by their execution, tack and taste. Considering most guys here have no frigging clue of what the MSL was means it's going to miss on most people. For the guy's in the know, they clue in right away that it isn't real, so it helps if you have more substance. Sort of like what Fionn did when he said, oh is it going to be a singing contest? Then you could have taken it one step further. Singing contest with pro gamers and you could even post the JD singing H.O.T.'s Candy in there which would add relevance and better execution derp. I have no problem with mean spirited jokes as long as you have good execution and delivery but this one fell on it's ass because it was too obvious. Even if it was too obvious you could have spun it differently by making it a dancing singing competition between pro gamers because then people would go like, "Ohhhhhh" because the guys who do know about MBC know it's music so it would make more sense. tada, your welcome.
