There is nothing from the past year to indicate that riding this out was a sustainable course of action. | ||

Eh it sounds less like a cave in and more like just a lot of fluff? It doesn't seem like there's any actual punitive plan coming down the pipeline, but that they'll try to buy off players from protesting by offering them some token stuff. "Everyone should stand..." sounds more like an aspiration than an order. | ||

The sheer amount of fake outrage that this has caused has distracted from the real issue at hand anyway. These NFL players should get all their money together and do something that will really make a difference. If only someone could think of what that would really be. I really feel dreadful for the black community when it comes to this problem. I really can't see a way forward that isn't excruciatingly slow and painful for everyone, and they can't keep letting the problem go on either. | ||
