The level of denial you'd have to have to not feel a wave of shame after doing something so crass is almost unimaginable.

It's based off of Trump's personal vendettas and favoritism. His campaign single-handedly changed the Republican party platform on Russia because ?????, and now Republicans just all look like a bunch of stooges by association. Thank god for everyone working behind the scenes to try to clean up the ill will he's creating, but I underestimated just how much damage one guys personal relationships could have on foreign policy.

I'd at least hope they do it off camera, a bit more tactful without looking like an idiot

Trump tries to avoid collision. End of story.

These nations work with US to deal with terrorist and keep us safe. If they really start withholding intel, it isn't going to be great.

Wow, you trumpets really do live in a parallel dimension. + Show Spoiler + ![]() That's a new level of pettiness, and i very much doubt Obama would've done this. Say what you will about that guy, he's classy. Like, you know, a president should be, regardless of his agendas. You voted a monkey into office that doesn't let an opportunity slip to confirm every american stereotype ever. Personally, if that was the head of my country? I'd feel humiliated. That's the guy you chose to represent you.

Mission accomplished, but this rocketship has a lot of turbulence, big league, believe me.

Well, we could go into a rant on how dumb the election system in the US is (talking about the electoral college), but i don't think there's anything left that hasn't been said before. Sidenote, i do think that americans only had to chose between pest and cholera this time around, but one would wonder if it wouldn't have been smarter to elect the person that does less damage, even if it doesn't bring the country forward. Trump certainly won't bring the country forward, but since everyone can do that, he decided to actively make the US look retarded on the world stage. Over and over again. And like it or not, a damaged bilateral friendship will hurt the US as much as any other country. And will take decades to fix.

Foreign policy is the biggest thing the president can impact as an individual. Can you imagine if he had the power to fuck up everything else just as bad??

I'll simply refuse to accept that this is a logical answer, Trump was the thing you were supposed to maneuver around. No idea if that's been posted in the thread but this was the text he left at Israel's national holocaust memorial, the man can't even write cursive. This is reads like something Justin Bieber would have written I dunno, it would've been Hillary with the GOP majority congress. There would be nothing getting done aside from the House constantly impeaching her. I actually think this result is better for most non-GOP people, as long as Trump doesn't kill us all in the next year and a half. He's far too incompetent to enact any agenda and he's ruining the GOP brand for decades. Had Hillary been in office it was a guarantee that there was going to be a GOP wave in 2018 and almost certainly would've won 2020 over her, as their utter garbage lies and gaslighting wouldn't have been exposed in so... Trumpian of a manner. The AHCA would've been rammed through in 2018 or so without a fight due to the vetoproof majority the GOP would've held, they could have voted to have a walk of shame GoT-style for the CEO of planned parenthood on the senate floor, etc. There's only 2 political parties in the US right now, leftists and neoliberals. The GOP are pure revanchists, no actual agenda or vision of the future. It's good for the system to see them exposed now with a tenuous grasp on power rather than with an iron one in a few years.

This is reads like something Justin Bieber would have written Most people vote party line, althought that is shifting nowadays because these parties and their nominees are so bad. Keep in mind, US-Russia relations would return to cold war levels if hillary won. This is while NK randomly makes threats and fires missiles. I mean sure we wouldn't have 3 am tweet storms, but we would be dealing with a completely unique set of problems if she won. If Trump gets impeached, I'll be quite happy. I ejected ship as soon as he fired Comey and hope he goes down. Pence would make a much better president.

I'm not gonna try to pretend that the pushing thing is a big deal, but if you're that deaf to body language, I can't help you. It's an indication of how tactless he is, and how eager he is to use every opportunity available to him to step on other peoples' toes and boast about how enormous his penis is. His presidency will likely boil down to this one meme.

I'm not even American and this shit is exhausting, every time I open the news Trump's stuipd face is everywhere, what this discussion always misses is the fact that people are actually on the receiving end of this stuff
