Also, everyone gets that the really damaging leaks are coming from within the Whitehouse, right? This isn't FBI and CIA agents leaking stuff. All these Trump said "something abominable" articles are coming from someone close enough to Trump to hear the "something abominable". That means they work in the Whitehouse under Trump, at most two rungs down the chain of command. The leakers are likely staffers for Priebus and Bannon.

I find your wild speculation of Trumps forethought and his ability to enforce this mythical contract to be less then convincing. The contract is with whom? The Federal government? Is he going to use a White House counsel to enforce this contract? He can't use private counsel.

There is no crime. At best, Trump martyrs these people into cushy jobs, where they'll be set for life, and in doing so, makes himself look even more like Nixon's evil Russian twin.

If they open a go fund me page saying trumps suing them for leaking about bis dumpster fire administration they will have enough money to out lawyer him within days lol. I am still questioning how Trump brings these civil cases. The executive branch isn't going to file three civil actions against white house staffers. And if they did, the ACLU would be like "LETS DO THIS!"

The leakers will get their 15 minutes of fame for being useful idiots to the anti-Trump cause, and then they will be discarded like so many others who have betrayed conservative causes have been. Just watch.

Just watch. Well it's either that or people will finally discard the biggest weapon against conservative causes which is probably the formerly lifelong Democrat incompetent executive who says whatever pleases whoever talked to him last.

I'm not imparting any judgment. I'm merely disabusing some of the idealists around here of the notions that 1) Trump isn't the one with the leverage and 2) things are going to turn out well for the leakers. Trump's biggest imperative -- more than any other item -- is purging his administration of leakers and anyone else who is actively undermining him. He will never accomplish anything until he gets his house in order.

He will never accomplish anything until he gets his house in order. People are actively undermining him because he's a shit boss to work for who is too lazy to read and too ignorant to listen to advice. Look at how he threw McMaster under the bus. Half of the trouble comes from his own dumb tweets contradicting statements of the white house. He literally doesn't give a shit about his staff.
