Or is it more the safe ones like yen, switzerlandmoney, gold etc going up? Don't trade currencies. Do whatever you were gonna do anyway. Sometimes you might come out slightly ahead, sometimes slightly behind but you'll end up doing worse if you start trying to actively gamble in it. I'm not exactly planning on trading currency, just thought wether I should use that and get stuff for christmas now instead of next month, since I'm going to buy that no matter what~

I can't believe Trump actually won. To me it seems like Clinton just couldn't gain the support of the Democratic base and Sanders supporters.

It's been at least an hour and Michigan isn't confirmed yet? Nothing on the other states too? PA would be the state that makes the call here. Michigan is possible for Clinton, NH is within 0.1% but once PA is called (even if she wins PA it's still just the 269 scenario and she loses that) it's over. So just wait for the last 2% from PA. it's past 1 here. I just want some confirmation to go sleep lol
You could have gone to sleep an hour and a half ago pretty much.

The same support that gave Republicans majority over both houses? Yeah right.

Waiting for Clinton to say 'President Trump' is worth it imo

AP finally called Pennsylvania for Trump

Just call Wisconsin already and announce the Trump presidency, please.

PA is called. No way for Clinton to win anymore, should be over

Meanwhile, my Facebook feed is completely filled with LGBTQ friends, minorities, and women who are crying and actually fearful for their way of life because of the consequences of this election.
Just waiting for all of the rationalizations and trivializations to roll on in. I'll say it again. The reality is that people's lives will change very little if at all. It's been great entertainment and should continue to be but it's not the end of the world. Not even close.
You can say it all you want, but it's an ignorant and privileged position to just off-handedly say this so easily. Electing such a bigoted, hateful individual to the presidential office isn't something normal. This isn't just another hand-off of the reigns of power from D->R or vis versa. This man is the embodiment of the disgusting underbelly of human nature. After electing such a piece of trash human being, there is truly no way we can talk about how great America is.

I suppose Trump's argument against the TPP resonated with people who felt they were fucked by NAFTA.
Possibly the death of TPP and TTIP right here. Trump has been very consistently anti-trade and I don't think he's dropping that.

I wonder what this will mean for gun ownership across different political groups.
The right-wing militia movement was a response to Clinton and Obama's election, and the Black Panthers a response to civil rights violations before that. I'm betting there might be some realignment given a Trump presidency.

If people could just realize how much time they devoted to Trump & minorities compared to Clinton & white working class. They glance up and a couple big blue states went purple and reddish purple at that.

PA secured for Trump. It's basically a done deal now.

He actually took PA. What a day

Should I feel bad about this because I am laughing so hard right now, this is a glorious year. So we are doomed all of us from now hahaha

I'm curious to see if this goes the way of V for Vendetta or The Purge. Going to be entertaining for sure.
Toadesstern, I'm not sure the Euro made a lot of progress over the dollar. The pound and yen did for sure. Pesos fell hard. I would check X Convert and see what they have on their site. I plan on calling my Japanese friends to buy me some stuff since they can now get it cheaper(ish), starting tomorrow.

Oh I guess she could still win if she gets Alaska but come on... Alaska... oh it's Arizone that's still out. She's not getting that either
Also made me laugh:
