I find it both telling and depressing that a bunch of mostly white males on this forum are cheering and high-fiving about "causing chaos" and "burning the system down".
Meanwhile, my Facebook feed is completely filled with LGBTQ. minority, and female friends who are crying and actually fearful for their way of life because of the consequences of this election.
Just waiting for all of the rationalizations and trivializations to roll on in.

Somehow the DNC has to purge the remnants of it out of the party and possibly figure out to get Biden to run in 2020 who would be 77...
I think the Democratic voting base can take back their party with this. Probably the progressive wing since Clinton was highly identified with the center. You think the Democratic voting base will forget how many times "Electable" was mentioned for why not to vote Bernie.
They can't say Comey and Russia loud and long enough to make people forget.

First Brexit, now Trump, yup, can confirm working class works in a magical way

Can't wait to go on vacation to the US in a few years and visit the wall
Voting in general is rigged imo, only reason I say this is because when I tried changing my address, it took SIX months to do so, and that's because I showed up to the supervisor of elections office and forced them to change it in person... I wonder how many others got fucked from voting in general.

I'd like to add trump cannot get re-elected, it's already started. Some people never learn.
I doubt he will be re-elected. In fact I'd go so far to say the USA may be unrecognisable in four years. Like i said a couple of weeks ago, can you imagine how this result is going to go down in San Francisco?

so with dollar dropping, does that mean I should be buying stuff I planned on buying on amazon.com (US version) soonish or are we talking about changes so small it won't make a difference? Or is it more the safe ones like yen, switzerlandmoney, gold etc going up?

I'll say it again. The reality is that people's lives will change very little if at all. It's been great entertainment and should continue to be but it's not the end of the world. Not even close.

Don't trade currencies. Do whatever you were gonna do anyway. Sometimes you might come out slightly ahead, sometimes slightly behind but you'll end up doing worse if you start trying to actively gamble in it.
Given the results in PA, Michigan and Wisconsin I don't even think the emails were relevant at all. There is some deep, substantial resentment going on in the white American working class.
Boy, there's gonna be a lot of self-righteous Bernie supporters in the next few weeks. And they're gonna be completely wrong, because we have zero reason to think Bernie would have done better, and they're going to refuse to listen to that. So that'll be obnoxious.
anyone heard anything regarding the remaining states? I'm highly debating just going to sleep. Don't want to wake up and find out Clinton won through several recounts
Voted for Bernie and this is how it ends up lol. Fucking sucks but that's life. Hopefully he doesn't disgrace the US anymore than we alrdy are in the world when meeting with world leaders. Why did the democrat's top choice have to be someone under an active FBI investigation, only way Trump had a shot at winning, and he actually won.
We could've had this nice old man who genuinely wanted to help us...
Chris Matthews just shut down Rachel Maddow on what Clinton did wrong. Not punishing business that hired illegally, to pro corporate, and enforcement if immigration.
