Jews or muslims are just about the same, both don't consider the other part human beings and want to kill them, with these kind of people in charge we will never see a end to this, not until one or the other are destroyed.. We can't expect people that believe in "gods" to be smart enough for peace.. To start beliving in a better future we have to let the past go.. | ||

They are actually vastly different, both in how they perceive scripture, and how they perceive the nature of god and various other metaphysical claims. Hamas should really learn how to better adopt a martyr pose, the rocket attacks are inconsequential - they'll kill a few people at most, and are terrible PR and exist merely to provoke Israel. I would honestly suspect them of wanting to provoke Israel simply to justify their existence. | ||

(only a matter of propaganda) I really don't see any short term way out. My guess is current Israel stance is doomed as soon as they lose political support from the US. Ultimate risk for Isreal is its destruction. Wouldn't be the first time an artefact of "end of war decisions" disappears, wouldn't be the first act forced by colonial nations in the region to be reversed either. As long as Israel has international support and no united front to face them, defense against palestinians supported by Saudi Arabia and/or Syria is messy, but feasible. In the long run, they need to find another way out. | ||
