About the time when the mutas arrived. I knew it was over prior to that because I wasn't going to be able to hold my third.

But the mutas made me realize I didn't make any turrets, and that was basically gg.

@Nightshade: That was a very friendly unit shift from what the norm is here on TL, ty, was fairly helpful. I think my attempt at a different composition might have just been stupid. You really need medevacs or banshees to keep the fear alive, hellions wont cut it when he's dropping spines and queens all over. And I got blocked way too much. Usually I 2 rax into 4 OC or 17 cc, and timing push at 10 with mmm stim.

xRiotZx, to be honest, I still think some solid hellion play would have been worth it. It would have at least kept him inside his base, playing defensively, staying away from wherever/whateveryou've got. To lose that many lings blings to some simple micro is great. Even if you don't hit his economy directly, it is a good offensive unit to ling/bling. Best, Niteshade

You're right, which is why I am now going to attempt to open Hellion expand, into bio/mech.

Anyone who actually watched the game knows this is one big fucking troll post. What a waste of time coming into this thread, I seriously hope the thread maker gets banned for this and never comes back.

Double Ebay block without sending any units after the hatch is already built? Just gtfo please. You lost on purpose so you could send this replay to us and troll team liquid.

You also very PURPOSEFULLY never upgraded stim or combat shields so you could lose in the most embarasing ways possible.
Bug Fixes Fixed an issue where, when facing a SlayerS terran, completing a hatchery would cause a medivac and 8 marines to randomly spawn nearby and attack it.

I watched the game and dude you just need to control your army better and pay more attention to the fights rather than getting ambushed with your pants down in a split seconds. Stop walking across the map in one big marine ball seriously. spreaaaaaaaaaaaad you're army out. We're not like Protoss or zerg where we can just A Click left and right. ESCORT your army, scan your enemies army position, when you get close start sending 5 marines in different locations to spread them out as you go. IT'S A LOT OF CLICKING. lots and lots of boxing and clicking when it comes to advancing towards your opponent. You can be risky and try to advance as far as you want but if he notices you and tries to ambush you, you better be prepared to siege those tanks, target fire those banelings, stim and split away. A part from that your trollz tactics are actually a waste of resources, not game ending but a waste. The second biggest game changer is your macro 3k mins 2k gas i mean dude you gotta keep that money low. if you're not focusing on your micro either because you're not paying attention or you just can't micro then at least your macro should be nearly flawless.. The only thing I really think you truly do not know how to do is escorting your army and how to control it. upgrades weren't that big of a factor because you never even had to deal with any hive tech units that game anyway

PS. forgot to mention another key things. duuude medivacs mann medivacs are so damn good and I don't think you've ever produced a single medivac this game. but I guess it wouldn't matter since your marines instantly die to banelings but yeah, ever seen like 20 lings surround a single marine for like 7 seconds because of the medivac heal? this gives your tanks and other marines a lot more volleys before his army takes on the rest of yours.

The matchup isn't balanced. just do a random cheese and see if it works you won't win a macro game vs zerg

You basically lost the game at the 13 min mark engagement.

-your didn't have stim, you didn't even start it, it should have been started with your first 125 gas once your natural is secure and you have confirmed that your not getting all inned.
-Your micro is terrible, actually scratch that, it wasn't even micro at all, its called a marine split, not box and move click backwards, you also way over extended from your tanks.
-you get supply blocked multiple times
-no scouting, no early game map control with hellions either.
-not a single medivac built.
-whats with that second factory?, you dont need hellions for standard mid game marine tank
- what was with that double engineering bay block? its just a pointless resource sink.
-why double armory?, why not double engineering bay with double bio upgrades, and why didn't you even wait for +1 to be done before attacking?

you could have easily won that 13 min mark engagement and the game if you had stim and microed properly.

I like when people with no posts try to tell you that you needed stim. I was going Mech you ass, the only reason I had marine is because they are a good fodder sink, this isn't marine tank, why would I make 2 armories if it was.

Traditionally mech compositions are only factory units. Since you were adding marines to the composition, not getting stim is a valid criticism. Also your theory that marines are a good "fodder sink" is silly. Adding marines makes you more vulnerable to Zerg splash(banelings and infestors) and they are not that good without the infantry upgrades.
