I'm currently a high Diamond zerg and I have ALWAYS been boxing my workers, counting, and only doing optimal saturations... and all the people I know do this as well. Its such an ingrained part of my macro that I'll probably keep selecting by habit and just looking at the number. Even when I'm doing some 12min-roach-max, and I already know i have full saturation on all of my bases. I keep going in a loop and rechecking them all, over and over and over again. I have no clue what that guy was talking about where pros just look and know. Every pro stream I've watched they are always rechecking their saturation.

Mothership's vortex ability now stun the units in target area for 20s and prevent any damage to these units. or you could just gimme arbiters ![]() Blizzard is missing the "omg" units like spidermines and banelings. Widowmines are like "oh i know whats gonna happen in x seconds". I watched some dota2 (really just a few minutes) but what is going on there (in the audience) is what sc2 needs right now.

We already knew that from the last DB inerview... they dont want to make every unit be the same speed, same dps, same health. they want to give the bc more dps so that it is a slow moving high damage capital ship. fsat moving and high armor doesnt make any sense.

So people that got closer to the top couldn't rely on auto features anymore. Think its a bad idea if it remains all the time, especially the idle army one... Edit: also on tournaments not allowing those options...

Edit: Ok, just saw the post above. But what is the point of creating a lot of potentially useless traffic, i.e. a lot of people downloading the client without being able to actually play when the beta is live?

It's probably not as much traffic as you think. Also, doesn't the downloader use some kind of BitTorrent-esque system? So it wouldn't put much load on Blizzard's servers (could be wrong) Not only that but from Blizzard's perspective it's probably nice to have a large sample of testers ready to go when they send out the invites.

I cannot attest to this as I'm on a clean Windows install. 2. The map editor will ask you to log in if you launch it directly... BUT. If you stat up the game client and click on the Editor button in there it will start for you. 3. Make vs AI maps and share here ^^ Can you detail the #3 point? I've never used the editor before. Thanks.

Yeah, guess it does make sense after all. Thx! ^_^

It would have been nice if with good control with the redline reactor Vikings couldn't always just endlessly kite the BCs. Not really sure why they increased damage vs ground from eight to ten. ground damage was an issue, because ground could ignore bcs completely and you felt like you are shooting with spoons, before you hit attack+3 . That being said, they nerfed the damage from 10 to 8 because bcs actually won against anything on the ground, marines/hydras/stalkers. Now they are even faster since then, and i haven't heard about new anti air units on the ground except the widow mine. I mean before a queen could kite a bc on creep, but that doesn't work anymore. Used bcs alot at that time and actually thought they would debuff the damage before they did it. Now it is back and almost nothing has changed except that the bc isn't the slowest unit ingame anymore. I am curious how this will play out now, because at that time no one went for upgrades so fast. Oh and of course at that time infested terrans weren't used and fungal didn't killed the viking support so easily. Glad they didn't removed reaper speed though. But i could name them a few other changes they could revert that woudn't hurt the balance as bad as 2 damage extra on bc ground. Not that i mind, it is one of my favorite units.
