I'm thinking exactly the same. Would wish to zoom in those unit charts that KT players were photographed discussing. If they have HotS units in them.
Note that Valve/Icefrog did exactly the same with The International - they had chosen top teams preparing on Dota 2 client prior to the event, before anybody else had access to the game. Blizzard might be adopting such esports approach.

Isn't much evidence? That's a joke right???
-eSports vision 2nd May -KT practicing SC2 and many other teams -Proleague will be SC2 included -Likely the last OSL due to sponsor issues -MANY top BW pros confirmed to be playing SC2 -MLG rumours
What more do you want besides players stating it themselves? (Which some of them have btw, see some of the ODT winners interviews).

Shoot, and I was waiting for the day I could finally jack all of his builds and overall style. I guess I'll have to stick to watching Hero. I don't think it is confirmed dude. There are plenty of areas in which micro would help as Toss that current players don't fully utilize. Heck the phoenix could be one of those units or simply unit splits, wrap prism, HT etc. Terran probably benefits the most right now due to their fast dropships and stutter step but lets not lose hope

No! The pros will play WoL until HotS is balanced. People like me from gold-masters will play the HotS Beta. At the start the beta will be imbalanced like shit, so no pro wants to waste their time to play it.

I'm still hoping it's not the game itself and that players like flash can show us that SC2 can be a good competitive game as well.

great news! i'm so looking forward to see more and more bw pros transition into sc2

If the top end pro's don't play the beta until it's balanced, then it will never be balanced. Blizzard needs their input to properly balance the game at the top level.

I am sure a good number of them will be invited to test out the beta and it could be beneficial for these pro players to get to know all the new units / abilities before anyone else really does.

Best thing they (Blizz) could possibly do is a big prize 'King of the Beta' tournament, which they might even combine with BLizzcon (Oktober/November, it is?) to actually give pro's a reason to switch ^^!?

Blizzard don't need to give pros a reason to switch. Tournaments with over a certain prize pool (the requirements are low enough that every major tournament counts) have to get permission from Blizzard to run, and I imagine they'll start only allowing HotS tournaments very soon after release.

I'm so excited to see what the BW pros can bring to the SC2 scene. Their multitasking is going to make for some amazing amazing games.

I bet flash got into masters right after his placement matches

I hope blizzard are using the bw pros like flash for input as they are balancing HotS. I also think that they might play HotS beta in the PL instead of WoL.

It doesn't matter. They won't play it until it's near the end of beta or released. The time from release until first HotS patch has the potential to be fucking terrible and imbalanced.

While BW pros dont have the SC2 experience, those teams would probably be the one of the best choices to beta-break the game. Having SC2 pros do both WoL and HoTS would make a really awkward transition period, especially if it is imbalanced, But BW teams, even the b-teamers and below, would surely find a lot of the imbalances and make it at least a presentable and competitive game.
