They seem not to realise that the Germans have been doing an excelent job both culturaly and economicaly. First of all, let's do some history check. Germany : Germany's attitude towards the rest of Europe has always been a little agressive. Since the fall of the Roman Empire, Germans have invaded the rest of Europe twice each century ( I shit you not, twice on the 20 th century, twice on the 19th, etc etc etc) this added to the fact that the origin of german liberalism is based on the idea of germanic superiority hence providing a basis for the analysis of the German role in the EU. They have been busy lately, telling the rest of Europe how to run their economies, threatening with leaving the Euro. No german will start a war but they still love the idea of running the show.
