It's self defense. It's only natural. He was harassed and Jorge Saavadra wanted revenge. ( He's only 14 and the authorities didn't do enough of a job to prevent it from happening. )
They were going to attack him again... and they did...

No need to kill another human over being feared of being beaten up. Maybe he could have tried to fight and become a stronger man. Now he is still weak and has blood on his hands, what's to say when he feels threatened again he won't do the same thing?

Need to fight your own battles. Not take the easy way out.

I wouldn't say it justifies killing another person. The goal as the physically weaker party with a weapon was to put the bully down as fast as possible. The next dumbest thing would be to go for areas like his foot and aggravate him further. If the bully dies, it's tragic yes, but he really brought it onto himself.

You guys are way too focused on the physical aspect of bullying. Bullying destroys you emotionally and psychologically, and I'm willing to bet the abuse descended him into madness; no sane 14 year old would repeatedly stab another human being. On top of the trauma already endured, he now has to cope with the fact that he has killed another human being. I don't condone his actions, and I believe that if he took a proactive stance against the bullies, such as informing his parents or the school, this tragedy could have been avoided.

It's a shame that the bully could not control his biological drive to dominate and control others, I'm going to guess that he had some underlying issues as well. This feeling of being in control and dominating others does have an effect on human neurochemistry, it's basically a "high" that the bully gets. I'm not justfifying what the bully did either, but there's always two sides of looking at it.

Bully got what he deserved in some way.
Death is a bit harsh but just imagine if u get bullied for a year threatened with physical violence.
And then on this day they announce it, hell I probably would have brought a shotgun.
Credits to the victim for remaining calm on the bus for so long until he eventually lost it.

At my school, years before I joined, a kid got bullied for the way he looked constantly. Eventually this kind in DT sharpened up a piece of metal on a bandfacer and stuck it in his pocket. Luckily another kid saw him do it and told the teachers, and two teachers got there just in time before he stabbed the bullies eyes out. He said he wanted to stab his eyes out so that he couldn't see his appearance and bully him about it anymore.

In this case I'm guess the kid brought the knife with him for protection, which shows some sort of premeditation. However, I think bullying can drive people to do some seriously out of character things.

Impressive, how can someone take shit for a year. Not by just one person but by a few people, for some reason I am not surprised the bully victim snapped and decided to carry a knife as protection. Too bad for the bully he pushed his luck too far.

Makes me sick so many people here think it is okay to kill another human over the fear of being beaten up. Remember that one bully in Australia? When the kid who was getting bullied just stood up for himself and dropped the bully? Yeah I bet the bully won't do shit anymore.

So many people in this thread are pathetic if you think that it is okay to kill someone over stupid shit like this. Worse comes to worse the kid could say "Look I have a fucking knife" and I bet you the other guy would have backed off. This isn't a life and death situation and almost every man is going to have to fight sometime or another in his lifetime, what ever happened to becoming a stronger person?

Could he have just shown the guy he was real by just slicing his leg or arm? Why did he actually have to fucking kill him? He's a fucking pathetic human.
