People tend to forget that Samsung never was spending shittons, only orgs in Korea who really spent in BW days were Telecoms and later, arguably, CJ Entus, but not Samsung. Probably, they're going full TongFu - "we had best team in China, fuck it, gonna develop talents after getting our sweet moneys from NewBee/iG".
Didn't Samsung pay like 500k for those teams a year ago?
4 best koreans team gone, boring lcs with 10 teams is there any reasons lol competitive anymore except world finals?
Cause i dont want hear this shit excuse again(inferior infrastructure, they are not mechanical better, they work better as teams ) each time c9 lose to a korean/chinese team. Oh "communication issues is the biggest bullshit excuse i ever heard". Royal with communication issues get second even if they got a easier bracket.
Not only im tired hearing that, but how long can you defend hai again? Guy get hyped cause he is korean challenger with the worst K/D/A feeding like hell.

And they won Worlds, OGN, Masters and got 2 OGN finals. #worth
I wonder what's the plan for an org like Samsung. They had the 2 best korean teams and just won worlds but they let their players go ? Are they not able to pay as much as China ? Or just not willing to ? Maybe they think they can rebuild easily and find the next faker/dade. Who's left on Samsung anyway ? Heart/Looper/Acorn ? That doesn't seem to be a very good basis to start a new powerhouse

Heart/Spirit with Heart being rumoured to retire. If they keep Spirit, they can build mid-tier team instantly, i'd say, if imp stays in the end, it's top-3 with no matter what.
So yeah seems like Coast lost their prequalification spot for expansion after all, but it doesnt really matter anyway. They reached challenger rank 1 on team ladder after 3 or 4 days of play. All other prequalified teams except Curse Academy have apparently also lost their spot due to roster changes or complete disband. So it is 12 teams coming from the ladder instead of 7. NA ladder will close for qualification on Sunday at 12 pm PST.
Favorites for the 2 LCS spots should be CrsA / Coast, after that Fusion / Enemy Esports if we go by the ranked 5 games. Maybe Fusion will become much better with Maknoon though, who joins the team today. The 2 col teams look pretty bad.

Cuz now they realized they could make a lot more bank with the skills and popularity they have over the 9-5 sucka wage they got playing for a pro team with (until recently) no streaming.
After listening to Krepo's stream I am pretty sure he is trying to get a spot on Alliance. Also Rekkles is now duoing with him all the time instead of Nyph.
While we are at far-fetched rumours, LOD also seemed pretty confident on Twitch chat the he will be in LCS. I think CLG is somewhat of a possibility for him.

Well, there are not that much possible mids for CLG in general, lol, my moneys are on Link anyway, if they don't import. Don't think that LOD is improvement at all. And considering rumours about Niels in [A] house, dis gon be fun.
They could try bid on Keane if CRS A don't make it to LCS. If I was Hotshot I would have kicked Link straight away. Can't have a player that jeopardized your spot in LCS over pettiness.

Getting someone just because he can pick Hecarim mid is, at least, weird.
Back to possible NA brackets (http://i.imgur.com/6ePwKkk.jpg):
CA has free pass to Final Four. Azingy's team is going to play Coast and that's where i expect upsets to happen. NME should advance ezpz as well, if Rhux doesn't destroy them and bracket D will be hilariously legit, so i'm not going to predict anything there.
Also, worth noting - coL still can make pr0lly's stack as main team to place them into bracket C and force Westrice, Kez, goldenglue, Impactful and Lohpally to mess up with brackets a bit.
