Naniwa needs to respect the culture of the tournament he joins, and not do whatever the fuck he likes. 2) Just because the game didn't matter to Naniwa personally, it doesn't mean that it doesn't matter at all to everyone else 3) mma and mc stunt is not in the GSL. Different tournament different rules, not that those two weren't just audience entertainment and poking fun at their friends anyway and I highly doubt Hero "throws" away games. If you're talking about nexus first, that is not throwing games away.

The last game of his did not matter to anyone, so he pulled all his probes and just a-moved to nestea. This according to GOMtv falls under one of their rules, most probably: "Displaying violent behaviors to threaten the opposing player or the audience." Doesn't exactly make a lot of sense ![]()

It's like refusing to pay a player his prize money that he earned in a previous tournament because of something he did in another tournament that happened after. RI-DI-CU-LOUS. And to add to that, I dislike Naniwa. But when it's not fair, it's just not fair.

Seriously, you can't do that. Naniwa did something they disagreed with, so? He earned his Cod e S spot, you can't just remove him from Code S for something that happened after he earned his spot. He earned his Spot no more than a lot of other players that cannot compete in GSL. And it is not like refusing to pay him, it is just showing that GOM doesn't let players fuck them over and that in a fragile environment like eSport makes me respect them SOOOOOO much more.

I don't see any way how to deal with this with some kind of rule and then I am not completely sure if it is really problem)

Many contradictions happening as well, a profit driven business thinks its dishonourable for a player to be a "prize money hunter" (then I wonder what's the point of prize money in the first place) and not think its dishonourable for a player to say that the game is unfair and broken (IdrA). The whole clash of the cultures argument is moot as well... How GOM behaves and the community's reacts shouldn't be any different either way whether the guy is Korean or not.

It might not be fair, but it is their right to deny anyone they want from playing in their tournament. If you do not agree with their decision, do not buy their product. I highly doubt you will stop buying their product over this one case, so really this is not going to effect anything but Naniwa being kicked out. If you do stop buying their product over this one issue, well then you sir are insane. Ill continue to enjoy the entertainment while you are watching whatever else you have decided to like until they do one controversial thing you do not agree with. Pointless to argue about anything else. Goodnight.

There are tons of players that would kill someone to get a chance to play a game on that grand of a stage vs. a player like Nestea. Im a fan of Hero, and it was breaking my heart watching him not play his best. But he still tried. You could see how upset he was, but he handled it like a pro, took his lumps, and still PLAYED the game, because thats what he signed up for. We pay money to watch the tournament, not to watch someone not give a shit. If this happened at a pro sporting event, fans would be outraged. The fact that people support his behaviour is completely mind boggling. I think the punishment is very fit for what he did. EXCEPT NOT, first of all, when the NFL season comes to an end, when the MLS season comes to an end, when the NBA season comes to an end, and even when the NHL season comes to an end the teams play half assed. They put out their benched players, this has been said many times. Last year, when Allen Iverson refused to play on the Memphis Grizzlies basketball team, he didn't get kicked out without payment or contractual agreement, he received his money, had a disagreement and when the contract ended, he left. The league didn't say, "oh well you aren't being very professional so you don't get any money," instead they kept their noses out of it, which was the correct decision. In the NHL, goalies don't always try at the end of the season if they have no chance. In the NFL benched players, especially the QB will be played if the team hs NO shot at getting into the playoffs. MLS and soccer in general this happens all the time where some big ego player won't try because he hates his team or something happened. GOM has overstepped their bounds by kicking him without a defined reason that isn't an insult. Mr. Chae has overstepped his bounds by lowering himself to less than Nani by simply insulting Nani . I don't watch GOM because its too late at night for me, but i'll be sure to not watch them for a while forsure. This is not how a league reacts and THEY need to grow the fuck up.

As much of a Naniwa fan as I am, I have to agree with the decision. I think this should be a reality check for Naniwa and he needs to stop his immaturity. Even though he knew the game had no decision in the results he could have still put on a showmatch in the very least.
