My name is Ian Butterworth, im a student journalist at Staffordshire University and a starcraft 2 player, and i was wondering if you could spare a few minutes to answer some questions regarding your barcraft events.
The information given will be used in a feature piece for my journalism degree. It may also get featured on http://staffslive.co.uk/ depending on the decision of my lecturer.
So on with the questions:
1. Have you ever been to a barcraft event? 2. If not would you go to a barcraft event if possible? 3. What do you think of barcraft events as a way of pushing esports and starcraft to be bigger in the coming year? 4. Any memorable memorys of recent barcrafts you have attended? If so which barcraft was it? 5. Do you think barcraft/esports events could become as popular as say people watching football/nfl/basball in bars/clubs?
Thanks for any replies

1: No, 2: Yes, if there were any somewhat close to me. 3: Great! Cannot believe going to a barcraft could be anything other than awesome, and it introduces e-sports to a bigger audience. 4: - 5: Hopefully. I think barcrafts are definetaly just as fun to attend. But as a sport Starcraft is not nearly as big as for example football or baseball so it is unlikely that it will become as popular in a foreseeable amount of time.

1: Yes 2: N/A 3: Great 4: IPL3 - ton of fun. 5: Probably not to that magnitude, where every bar has the games on, but for an individual bar, it can draw equal or larger crowds.
