Seen interviews with top players complaining due to counters not being released yet, making some champs pretty op in the beta. Also if you've followed the changelogs at all there is a ton of bugs with every champ when they are first introduced into dota 2, so may take quite a while to get everyone in game.
So they won't be playing with 80+ heroes? That sucks, i was hoping to see some special picks to beat the chinese. Heroes Heroes Heroes not champions, Thanks.

Yeah, someone is gonna get stabbed for calling heroes champs soon for sure.

I like the trailer except I think that the sound effects are wimpy. Maybe they are trying to make use of the same sound effects that will be in the game but they all feel very light or low impact. But it's just a trailer so no harm done.

All valve games have it so I would guess this one will as well. Lately most company's are just saying fuck it... Well the game is F2P ANYWAY! why not lan? Lets look at tf2 for a moment.
The main reason for valve making TF2 f2p not only for testing out dota2 model but also because in China there is a replicate of TF2 with chinese features. It obviously will attract more user due to the culture and language barrier of TF2 to chinese fans.
If DotA2 is does not has LAN, there soon will be a crack for it (even sc2 got LAN crack now) and valve wont be able to do shit. The best solution here is to make the online feat. so good that LAN will be less in use. Single players will be able to find their own team using online feat. instead of LAN. Achievement unlock skin and items etc... LAN is needed but removing LAN is not the answer to anti-piracy.

Where did you read that it was f2p? I know we are all assuming it is, but is it confirmed?
