if thats true... 6 figure salary... wow shit jsut got real

The 6 figures thing is what makes this post ridiculous. If you have that much money you could buy everyone in Code S and set up a team house. No single SC2 player is worth that money.

some of you will look like clowns if huk is not joining EG

Idk guys... Huk has been more friendly than usual to EG. If you watched the Blizz NA Invitational, Huk and Idra shook hands, and Idra even congratulated him on his win. Odd behavior for those 2, considering they were mortal enemies I thought?

No single SC2 player is worth that money. Apparently WhiteRa was looking for 8k euros per month in salary from sponsors. This number supposedly comes from FXOBoss, so you can ask him about it.

I doubt they would offer lucrative contracts to an injured TLO, a demotivated Tyler, a medicore Haypro, or a stagnant Jinro. I could definitely see them signing a Ret, although I don't know anything about his personal stance or contract situation.
Huk & Ret with another European and a Korean thrown in? That would be enormous for EG. Hmm, Huk and Ret, would make sense why TL suddenly acquires a Zerg (sheth) and Protoss (Hero) so recently after long stating that they were not seeking additional players...That would make me reallly sad, though, seeing as how they seem to be the two that have been riding liquid out of its slump. Funny thing is, though, those two are also probably the two that I haven't been as much of a fan of among all the liquid players. Dunno why. Their were rumours that ret left Liquid after he wasnt wearing his liquid shirt at the Battle.net invitational. He squashed those rumours but it could easily be true.
I could see it.

Whatever EG is planning; all these hint, clues and guessing is good fun. Seems like the Liquid' guys are in on this as well. Can't wait to find out what it ends up being (fingers crossed something bigger than just something about the EG house)

How did nobody notice this before?
This is obviously related to the whole announcement (>,<)

People blew the "follow the 4 horsemen" comment out of proportion, he just meant follow the EG guys (LOL) to get new hints.

This suggests that the TL staff have ordered the mods not to comment on this announcement. If HuK were really going to EG, odds are that the non-admin mods wouldn't know about it yet, and as such would also be joining in on the speculation.
Of course, there is a good chance that I simply have no idea of how the TL mods actually operate...
The only instance I could find of any mod intervention in this thread has been regarding this post. On August 15 2011 18:03 SpoilerAlert wrote: What if the sound clip is about Day9 and not Huk ? What if EG acquired Day9 as a pro player ?
The account was, according to the ban list, someone making an alternate account to get around a ban. It's interesting nonetheless.

"1. HuK will be staying in Korea. 2. The plan is for him to get an apartment. 3. Salary is rumored to be right around six figures. 4. EG aggressively pursued him. This has been in the works for a while. 5. I'm told there is a new sponsor and this sponsor's influx of money is what made this deal possible. (Say what you want about EG, from a business stand point they set the standard for North American organizations) 6. This is news to most (this had been "very few", it should have always been most) people "in-the-know". 7. Apparently if you are female and have MSN HuK has been willing to tell you for a while. Rumor has it that Team Liquid has signed a Protoss to replace HuK. That I am less sure of so that's all I'll say about that. This is likely not the last major move for EG, but nothing else is signed/100% confirmed."
