From the pictures we saw filmed, most of those 20-30 people where floating in the water, so it seems likely he shot them as they where trying to swim away.

I simply replied that the act of hitting that many targets does NOT require "highly trained professionals".

an assault rifle with optics isnt as easy to use as u think. VA tech shooter hand them in small classroom not out in the open totally different situation. not sayin hes spec ops though dude dont get me wrong. The gunman has been captured quite some time ago. They're still trying to account for the 700 that were at Utøya at the time.
My condolences go to the victims and their close ones. Gotten tons of phone calls today.. This happend far away from me. My friend is in Oslo. But he's okay. His brother was very close though.
