"SIXJAXTerran is a bad player" at least thats what SC2 Pro FXOSheth thinks
While watching NASL 3-1 they did a post game interview with Sheth. At the end of the interview InControl asked if Sheth had any shout outs or plugs to make. Sheth listed off a couple but ended with the statement that "SIXJAXTerran is a bad player"
After hearing that I had to know what, if anything had motivated Sheth to make such a pronouncement. Sheth has been unavailable for comment but I was able to talk with SixJax Captain Artosis (also commentator from GSL) and he had this to say:
Q: What is your response to Sheth coming out on NASL saying that SIXJAXTERRAN is a "bad player"
A: Well SIXJAXTerran ..."My little Mexican", his worst matchup is TvZ. Sheth is so GOOD I am not surprised he would think that he is a "Bad Player"
I just wanted to thank Artosis for taking time to respond to Sheth's comment
My question's for the TL community are:
How do you feel about these types of comments?
Could these be similar to Rap Battles or "feuds" and do you think they would/will have a positive or negative impact for the SC2 community

I think it's awesome. SC2 needs more focus on the players behind the keyboards, and rivalries/dramallama. That's part of what made BW so great.

Needless thread to stir up needless drama, IMO. Terran has plenty of time to prove himself, Sheth has plenty of time to eat his words.
I have to say tho, manner response by Artosis. Not the least bit surprising from one of the most mature dudes in the scene.

Sheth is entitled to any kind of opinion on any player. So is anyone else. We don't need a thread everytime someone states an opinion about someone else.

Sheth was also laughing his ass off after he said it. Leads me to beleive he wasn't super serious about it. I have seen Terran snipe him on stream, but I have also seen Sheth ask him to stop and Terran being manner and stopping. I'm not sure what to think.

uh i thought a lot of people answered this multiple times in the nasl thread.
What everyone were saying is :
Terran and Sheth are close to the top of NA Grandmaster Ladder. Terran seems to care about the top position in NA GM a lot so he has been stream snipin Sheth all the time while shit talking. Sheth also said Terran was at fault with what happened at Root ( Sheth's ex team) so Terran took offense and the shit talking and sniping escalated.

On his stream most of the time he says he thinks he's a good player, but poorly mannered. Maybe he just wants to up the ante! I like it, Sheth is the most manner person I've ever seen play, except with sjTerran :D It's good for the game.

Seth is annoyed by the fact that sixjaxterran is always trying to snipe him in the ladder. Anyone who watches his stream can confirm this. Nevertheless, he could also actually believe that he is bad...

sixjaxTerran aka Kitty had been stalking him recently whenever he was streaming. At one point, Sheth waited over 15 minutes after finishing a game against him on ladder before entering queue again to avoid him and still ended up going against him. It was as if Terran was patiently sitting in front of his computer and waiting for Sheth to enter queue. This comment seems to be a result of him being fed up with the guy.

anyone that watches sheth stream would know that sixjax terran constantly get matched up with sheth, its really scary how often. Sheth believes that terran is stalking him and is stream sniping him etc.

Something else to note is that calling somebody "bad" literally means nothing in competitive SC...players do it ALL the time and have done it since BW.

I believe what led to this is that Sheth previously mentioned his dislike for how Terran behaved with ROOT, which Terran got offended about and started stalking Sheth on his stream. Do note that Terran has a pretty bad reputation for BM'ing people on the ladder and clan hopping like crazy since BW, which could have been part of why Sheth didn't like him from the start, but I guess the recent events really tipped Sheth over to say this on his interview.

Sheth actually started this feud when his stream first started getting popular. The two were matched up and sixjaxTerran was just chilling with hf gl and sheth drops something to the effect of "You know I think you are a bitch clan hopper". Ever since that game the bad blood has just continued.

macro zergs play the game how it is meant to be played and therefore know better than anyone else if a pro player is "bad" and just makes up for it with cheese and abusive play
anyone idra and sheth call bad should be scrutinized extra carefully because those top level macro zergs have more game knowledge than any other pro player. everyone knows to play zerg at a top level you need to know all the cheeses, rushes, and timings. subsequently it is easier for a top zerg know if a pro player lacks at executing lategame play or have the strength of a true timing push when compared to a better skilled opponent.

Theres nothing wrong with Sheth calling him out. SC2 needs more fueds and rivalries. Sheth didn't say anything personally offensive to sjTerran, it's all part of the game.

gositerran is a good player but reallllly annoying to talk to/deal with almost always. That along with his lack of loyalty and professionalism really makes him not very well liked by many top players I feel.

I'm not slandering Sheth at all, that is just what I saw happened. He did it in response to people in his stream saying he is two faced because he pretends to be nice but then talks shit on them behind their back. I watch Sheth's stream every night. And every at one time, there was like 8 matches in a row of kitty vs sheth. At the same time, in the chat list was sixjaxterran aka kitty.
Then there was a few close position metalopolis bm's and then the sniping got worse and sheth was playing around seeing whether he actually was sniping and it was proven.
Kitty never GG's, and its a well deserved BM in my opinion.
Sheth wins 80% of the matches vs terran on stream, the other 20% are usually close position shattered or metal.

He hasn't really bmed that much.. Just a tiny bit. But sheth talks alot about what he is doing on stream. And alot of the time sixjax is on the stream whilst playing vs sheth. So stream cheating is a possibility, but without being at his pc I couldnt say. He might have it muted and just sniping on ladder.
The guy is a bit bm, but I wouldn't say very bm.. Some of the more famous players are far more BM than terran.

desrow is right. terran might put on a nice show but behind the scenes it's a totally different story. he treats people like shit both with bm and how he's clanhopped without giving a shit about anyone for literally his entire career.

If this kid is bad manner and is sniping and just all around not a "good" ideal or whatever player. Then if he gets some shit he deserves it.
