EPTDoes anyone know how to avoid this problem but still being able to shift-queue abilities so that I can do other things other than spam snipes the entire battle?

You're telling the ghost to finish his current command (like walking into the enemy's army) before sniping EDIT: just hit 's' first to tell the ghost to calm the f*** down then do your s*** | ||

I just hold R though, without shift as your keyboard will repeat fast enough that you will be unable to click fast enough to get rid of the "crosshair" cursor. This way you always directly command your units to do something instead of waiting for something else to complete. The only danger is if you are trying to hit something that is out of range, as the closest ghost/infestor/whatever will start walking towards the target, your next spell that is issued will then select a different ghost/infestor/whatever because the one walking already has an order to cast the spell you are trying to cast. | ||

A) Do exactly what you're doing, but hit 's' before you start B) Instead of holding shift, hold down the key for the ability you want. Eg for roach burrow micro you simply hold 'r'. Then (while still holding 'r') click any roach you want to burrow | ||

But, yes you need to make sure you aren't holding shift after an attack move or move command or else it will queue the command you're trying to do after they get to their destination, never get in the habit of holding down shift while clicking for no reason. | ||
