A compound bow would also be cool, though I have no particular model in mind. Also pretty expensive, but:

I guess to have a license in the US, you actually have to be a US national? ^_^ I'm pretty sure you can get a license, and maybe even call in advance if you are planning a hunting trip, every state has a minor differences in laws though.

I plan to NEVER EVER own any gun. ![]() There are many countries that allow gun ownership but it always ends up being the US pitted against the rest of the world. As if somehow the US is the lone holdout in all of this.

You cant own pistols, but other than that everything else is fair game, as long as you have the proper licenses obviously, and its not fully automatic From an earlier post : + Show Spoiler + Well seeing as I live in the UK, I dont have as much access to guns as you lucky bastards over the pond, I have to make do with restricted guns. Ive been shooting since around age 9 (26 now), received my first air rifle at 13, and been collecting rifles since ive been 19: 1/ AR15 (straight pull, not semi or auto, unfortunately) 2/ Mauser MO3 Extreme 3/ Precision Gun Works Timberwolf 4/ Daystate Red Ranger Limited Edition (air rifle) 5/ Feinwerkbau P70 (air rifle) 6/ 3 shotguns, no idea on make, they're my fathers not mine. Got his first gun at age 6 lol. 7/ Also had a variety of pistols until the laws came in after Dumblane. (My father did anyway, got them all taken from him, even my grandfathers ww2 service pistol) Whats annoying is that you cant even keep pistols at a club. Never shot a pistol (except air pistols) and always wanted to. Maybe when i finally move over to the states........

I've got a couple bows though , an italian made 55 pound hunting bow and a South Korean 26 pound target bow.Archery is very big in South korea as i'm sure alot of folks here are aware , their bows are high quality but also affordable. The Italin cost around twice as much (around $450 or so) but it is high quality with solid oak riser , brass fittings and sturdy feel.If my camera wasn't broken i would post images. Also they are trying to ban crossbows here now also , it is ridiculous.

How would you feel if someone breaks in steels your guns and kills other people with them. Woudn´t you feel kinda responsible. And don´t tell me there isn´t a possibility of a break in. IMO(!!) you shoudn´t own stuff that only purpose is to harm people. And its kinda easy: point and shoot. It shoudn´t be so easy to end someones life. User was warned for this post
