Milkis post sums it up very well imo.
"Good one, Stork. Good one."

He didn't know he was going to do the same thing. He can't see the future. At the time, it was how he felt. Later, in another situation, he felt differently.

That self-serving attitude from Stork is exactly why some people in this thread are criticizing him.

He would be a moron not to skip PL to practice MSL since January allowed him to.

Yeah but how was he to know last year that he would be in this situation right now? Of course that is why you need to be extra careful with what you say in life but what's done is done. It's more likely that he spoke out of frustration and disappointment (of his own individual league results) rather than genuine moral/ethical outrage back then.
I can understand why some people are offended but they need to realise that it's an imperfect world and we humans are imperfect creatures. Maybe try looking at yourselves before taking the moral high ground so quickly.

Did you read my post? How did stork call flash out?

I think it's clear now that the coach decided who will go and who won't go, Stork has no say in this matter. Read the other thread for more information.

I don't think there is much more to discuss about this tbh, it'll probably end up in more flames. this OP and opticalshot's both give different and arguable views (stork hypocrite vs. fighting the one-man team image) but i bet there are a lot more flames to be found in this thread lol.

I don't understand why it's a self-serving attitude, though. Ironic that people are getting on Stork's ass for being hypocritical when everyone criticising him either is being hypocritical or will one day look back at realise they were being hypocritical.

Hm, you can't really compare the two situation... yes everyone is a hypocritic once in their life.... but not on the same scale as Stork (scale as in media exposure etc etc...)
About the issue, I believe Stork was just mad back then when he made that comment- he did not think it through nor could he imagine he would be in the same position in the future. Imagine practicing hours after hrs to play against one guy that did not even show up.
But yes, in my book, he is a hypocritic.

They wouldn't dare to lie about the coach part, if they said "coach decided to let Stork remain home" then it must be it.
I will lie for my friend but I won't go "the teacher decided that he must skip the class" unless it's what happened.

That's not really the point, but you should keep things in context.

Maybe he is sick?? ((

As long Khan win their games, I don't care if he keep skipping PL games. Well, maybe he shouldn't called flash in the first place but I guess he never considered he will be in the same situation as flash.
|
I don't see how this is thread worthy. If it was a lie that actually made a huge difference in a practical sense, then maybe.
|
Stork better 3-0 Zero tomorrow night, otherwise I'm gonna start up my very own GOTCHA Stork=Hypocrite thread. Just check out this outrageous quote from his interview after the OSL semis:
"After last night's loss, I believe I'll 3-0 him the next time we meet."
I've certainly never acted hypocritically in my life, so I beleive I'd have the right to call him out on this.

This thread should be closed to prevent further misunderstandings about what really happened.

That was a stupid thing to say. You have to be able to put yourself theoretically into someone elses situation.

Either way, it was a stupid thing to say. But it's not the end of the world, I hope he knows not to say these things in the future. I forgive you stork but you gotta stop talking about things you don't know:=)
