Took me a while, but I found the original. I don't see any sarcasm. There's a heavy tone of disappointment, like being bracketed against Nadal in a tennis tournament, then getting there and find out he has to practice for another major competition later that week. In that sense, Stork may just be calling out Flash's confidence just because he was so let down by losing the opportunity to play that excellent PvT. EDIT: take with a grain of salt. I am reading off a translation, after all EDIT: note that i'm also really bad at detecting unusually thick sarcasm... although i still doubt it's sarcastic

Open spoilers if you want to know what was said... + Show Spoiler [KHAN vs FOX interview, Jan 26 2011] + Here's a blurb from Jangbi-Grape interview: Q Q: Last words? A: Jangbi = Stork didn't show up for today's match with our team, and he's taking a lot of harsh words and criticism right now. Let me make it clear, his absense is not because he's practising for OSL; he's not here because it's Coach January's decision. Because Stork's been single-handedly carrying the team lately, Coach wanted to send us a strong message this way. It's not that Coach wants to favour Stork excessively or something. I hope people don't misunderstand and hate him for this. I'm pretty sure he was watching TV and cheering for us instead of practising. Source: http://esports.dailygame.co.kr/news/read.php?id=39258 Sure, people, speculate all you want. Jangbi and Grape trying to "shield" Stork? Perhaps, but interviews from teammates are hell lot more credible than anything here I've seen so far.

Sure, people, speculate all you want. Jangbi and Grape trying to "shield" Stork? Perhaps, but interviews from teammates are hell lot more credible than anything here I've seen so far. Definitely jangbi and grape defending stork. January said this before the game 삼성전자의 김가을 감독은 “송병구 선수의 개인리그 일정이 너무 많아서 팀 차원에서 배려를 해줬다”며 “현재 송병구 선수는 숙소에서 개인리그 연습 중”이라고 말했다. basically the team allowed Stork to not show up as a favor. (배려 is so hard to translate so i'll just use something close enough)

stork was wrong to have said that but he was disappointed at that time that he could not play flash. KT was powerless without him and did not seem to take Samsung KHAN seriously. seems to me like a bunch of haters here and in Korea are afraid of Stork and want to break him down with criticism before the finals.

This OP is misleading. I read the original Korean interview here: http://www.fomos.kr/board/board.php?mode=read&keyno=106476&db=interview&cate=&page=1&field=&kwrd and Stork never said "Back when my schedule was full, I prepared and play for both my individual and proleague games." The only thing he said was that based on flash's absence ("at a time when all teams are focusing on proleague," I admit this phrase seems to have a critical nuance of flash), stork thought maybe flash was lacking confidence that he could win in the proleague. And that he was disappointed that he could not face flash.

Flash skips Proleague to practice for Bo5s against MVP and Pure. Stork skips Winner's League to practice for Bo5s against Fantasy and Zero. Yeah, those are comparable occurrences. Furthermore, did Stork actually not show up to Proleague during Incruit/Clubday, or was he merely not slotted for games?
