Not to mention a notorious map whiner. I don't see whats to like about him other than finally having a Protoss win something. Even if he does win it, it'll still be played down like Calm's MSL victory. Sometimes you get lucky with the brackets and avoid Flash, Jaedong, ZerO, Bisu and Kal (the players i believe who would have the best chance against him and maybe even favoured in a Bo5. prehaps Hydra too now.).

It would be nice if the OP was updated with some of the nuances of the situation.

coach january in her pregame interview said the decision to bench stork was her idea and it was so the team stops relying on him and wins on their own strength

Tada! Case closed. January is protecting her player, surprise surprise. Have you read any of the interviews? But I'm sure you'll just go ahead and claim the entire team is lying, because you secretly monitor Stork's dreams and know better than to trust.. every single applicable authority regarding the situation. And an interview from a teammate matters? Did you think that they would say things differently? Do you think that person will live peacefully in the same house as everyone else? We don't know they lie or not but that doesn't mean they told the truth of the situation. Even if you read the interview, form an opinion of your own and not just follow their words. Should we believe more in your assumptions rather than base our opinion on what has been said by his coach and teammates who are as close to the matter as you will never be? Wouldn't that leave us not having an opinion of our own basically? So, you're saying interviews should be treated as bull now and random posts on TL should be viewed as the gospel truth. Very nice. *applause*
It would be bad management and the height of folly indeed to send out in Proleague a player who has dual league matches, when it's your responsibility to maximize his chances of winning. Good job, January.

And they could have bench him last week or so but why exactly on the day that he has 2 bo5 2 days after? They could have bench him even after the finals or something but there is only 1 reason(that I WILL THINK) to why he's been benched.

Is there anything in my post that led you to believe that I try to make people use MY opinion? I was just telling the guy that people can form an opinion of their own and not just believe in whatever was said in the interview. And I stated my opinion about the matter and that's AFTER reading the interview but did I try to make you guys believe it?
Applause to you if you can read it that way.

So who is a player worthy of being liked based on personality?
Only players on Woongjin. And FBH.
We like players for their gameplay, or sometimes their physical appearance rofl. Some people just bandwagon whoever's winning at the moment (or pick someone who is winning and attach themselves to that player forever). But true fans, they watch the games and identify reasons to like a player based on their games. Stork is the gutsiest PvTer, pushing in with goons against tanks where angels fear to tread. Or maybe you're a fan of Jangbi storms. Or of Great's late game ZvZ. Not to only use KHAN examples, maybe you enjoy Fantasy's mech wackiness, Baby's supreme multitask, Calm's hilarious fails, Flash's perfect cheese defence...
Whatever it is, it's gameplay that should be motivating who you like as a player. Personality is a great reason to like players, I agree, but 85% of progamers show none. Stork is a bit of a whiner, I agree, though only relative to the other programers who simply say nothing. Some people say they're his fan because of his interviews actually saying something, but to be honest he doesn't seem to often have good things to say :p
None of the other super-popular players have anything good to say, either, though.
Look how many fans fucking Saviour had... no, still has, and he was a straight-up dick. He always looked like an ass to me, too.

I dunno, just from reading the interview, it seems like it was more a joke =]

I don't know about you but to us, it does matter. Rather than form our opinion based on hearsay and assumptive thinking, we resort to what we read in interviews. What I don't understand is what business of yours other people's opinion is anyway. Aren't we entitled to our own opinions?

He should be practicing for OSL instead cause his ass is getting stomped by fantasy XD Actually though this seems pretty stupid.. your team is the reason you have a progaming license, your team is the one that supports, houses, and pays you to play, your team should always be the first priority. I can't imagine why he would do that.. since i like stork im hoping his team told him to do this because if he decided it himself thats pretty low.

>.< of course he is my fpl captain
