Hey everyone, been wondering about this for a while now, anyone know ?

Why do pro players play on low graphics ?
Still waters may run deep.

It makes it easier to see stuff. Also there is less, if any, video lag.
I am a tournament organizazer.

Not every pro player does, but many indeed. They do so because it offers more clarity. Units appear in brighter, simpler colors and thus stand out more. Less detailed textures also help the background not get in the way. Also, quick death animations make it easier to tell when a unit is killed.

I play on ultra and I don"t have any lag so I don't underdstand. It's not like the game engine is ultra hardware demanding.
Still waters may run deep.

Not all pro's run on low graphics actually. I know whenever I watch Sen's stream he plays on medium/high graphics. Lz doesn't play on lowest either (or at least when I watch him). Dunno lots of pro's don't play on the lowest settings but some do because they don't want to have to worry about any lag.

Possible that their computers can't handle it. They find the destruction to be cluttering to them so they dont' want that. It just really depends on the players. I know alot of the pro's that stream don't play on lowest graphics but there are some that do (machine/Nony do I believe).
