You lot seem to think that basically it's your job to woo and coerce a woman into letting you take her home with you. That's a friggin uphill battle. And a woman who is just going to have fun with her friends? You had better be prince charming.

Don't set yourself a goal of some girl and just go after her, regardless of whether or not it will be a hard fight. Just try and figure out which expo is exposed and which expo is locked down by a tank line and hit the eaisier one.

And of course, if you're looking for a commited relationship you probably shouldn't be in a bar doing so anyways.

For people unfamiliar, '부비부비' (boobi-boobi) is the Korean term for Korean style grinding. Generally, it's where a Korean guy goes up to a completely unsuspecting Korean girl from behind (because they all dance facing one way in Korea), holds her by the waist and starts grinding her. This happens everywhere in every Korean club I have been to. I'm not talking about Itaewon clubs which are full are idiot foreigners, but "proper" Korean clubs in Hongdae and Gangnam. Most Korean guys do exactly what you say they don't! Yes, the grinding isn't as explicit as in foreign clubs, but at least its normally initially consensual.....

I must add though that Korean girls who have been to clubs a few times fully expect this behaviour from K guys. I remember asking a few girls why they tolerated it because in foreign clubs, a guy would get a elbow to the face in the best case and a charge of sexual assault in the worst. They all answered that they didn't mind as long the guy was cute.... in other words, its just accepted. Even when the girls turn round and see an ugly ass ajosshi, theyll normally just walk off without too much of a fuss.

Btw, I completely agree with you that to Koreans, clubs are generally for dancing whereas "night clubs" are definitely the places to go to meet the opposite sex. But to go back to the OP, he will need patience, decent Korean skills and a shit tonne of money to succeed in nightclubs.
