Not to mention that the traits under which the above biologic principles were developed aren't the most useful anymore in our time and age.

Oh, I should have said, everything we do involves passing our genes to the next generation. And yes I know women are more selective when it comes to choosing a partner, but all that says is that they are always looking for Mr. Right. Basically, men go to clubs and are happy if they get laid with anyone, women are happy if they get laid with Mr.Right. Both are looking to pass on their genes, but the women are more selective with who they are choosing. They are still there looking for sex which was how the argument got started.

By system I think you mean natural selection, and natural selection, particularly in human evolution has strongly favored brainpower.
