If you have a discrete video card in your laptop and it's not good enough, then it probably wont ever be enough and simple textures won't help here either. | ||

The only thing that can do that is lowering the resolution of the textures, and on low it's already very low. If you have a graphics card (or CPU) that have problems with the textures on low, I doubt even using 1x1 sized textures will help. | ||
