Invincible drone bug: how to do it

SpiderWaffle United States125 Posts May 05 2010 01:01 GMT #1 There was an invincible drone bug that was fixed in patch 1.04, I'm wondering if anyone knows how it was done. This would be useful for speedrunning starcraft on an earlier version.

SWPIGWANG Canada482 Posts May 05 2010 01:15 GMT #3 From what I've heard: 1. get your drone down to 1hp 2. morph a building 3. cancel, giving drone 0/40 hp, making in invulnerable Note that you lose the invulnerability as soon as the drone heals itself back to 1/40 hp, allowing it to be killed normally.

Yammiez Canada186 Posts May 05 2010 01:23 GMT #4 back in the day when it was 0/40, it would stay like that and wouldn't die. It also helps to use plague until the drone is at 1/40. Not sure if the type of building mattered at the time as well.
