How to convert a replay file to wmw.?

T3mpus 25 Posts March 05 2010 23:49 GMT #1 Hi! How do you convert a SC2 replay file to wmw. or another shareable format? I would like to post some replays to youtube for example, but I can't do it Please help! thanks!

Xiberia Sweden634 Posts March 05 2010 23:51 GMT #2 You need to record yourself watching the replay using camtasia or some other screen recording software. You can't just convert the file itself to a video format.

CagedMind United States506 Posts March 05 2010 23:52 GMT #3 Replays are not video formats of any kind so you can't convert. They are saved commands that sc2 plays out. You would need a recorder program while watching rep.

wintergt Belgium1335 Posts March 05 2010 23:53 GMT #5 Download FRAPS to record the replay then use something like Windows Movie Maker to turn the huge file output into a compressed .avi or .wmv or whatever you want.
