That makes it even more ridiculous. You put time and effort into making a potential 14 games, but STILL have the ultimate outcome decided by one game.
By that logic, isn't every series in the end decided by 1 game (the last game played)?

I'm not calling Khan to give the win to STX, I'm not a big fan of either of the teams. I'm just saying that I don't like the format.
Yep, me too. Not sure why everyone's getting so serious lol =/

xd jangbi and everyone doubted him

The fact that both teams understood the system doesn't lend it any sort of credibility. The entire point of a bo7 is to reduce variance and let the most skilled team win. You throw all that out the fucking window when you stage a bo1 as a tiebreaker. Yeah but that gets balanced out by having TWO BO7s before.... Exactly. This format strikes a perfect balance between matching team depth and matching ace player skill.
The bo7 doesn't reduce variance at all, it simply lends a chance to the players who play much less during the regular season to play during playoff and really show the team's lineup. what does reduce variance is having TWO of them. using an ace tie break is perfectly logical and has very fair and is used widely in every sport.

No, no you wouldn't.
stop bawwing about the format and just accept that STX lost.
BOTH teams had to prepare for the format, and the better team won.
if STX is such a great team with such amazing TEAM DEPTH LOL then why did they lose the first bo7 in the first place?
move on

Quick partial translation of the interview with JangBi by XYoonZ! All credits to him <3.
Commentator: "It was a hard match congrats" Commentator: "did you decide to go out? or did the coach pick?" JangBi: "i was ready to go out as Ace. The ace was different from game 5. I was panicked in game 5 so i got composed and decided to win the ACE. During all of game 5, i was panicked." Commentator: "Did you think you would win with the zealot rush?" JangBi: "I knew i would win when I saw the scourge pop." Commentator: "CJ has advanced." JangBi: "It doesnt matter which team advances cuz it will be tough matches. As long as we prepare we can win." Commentator: "Will you have a ceremony? JangBi: "My body isnt made for that..."
Again, props to XYoonZ for the translation!

If you compare it to tennis it's like losing 7-5 in sets and THEN playing a tie-break. Just doesn't make much sense. No, it's like winning 76 26 76

Whine all you want. It doesn't matter when SKT rapes whichever team they go up against. ^_^

Having each team win one of the bo7's shows you that they're fairly close in skill. The best way to discern who is better when they are obviously close is to play MORE games as opposed to less. A single game in SC can be a coinflip- I could potentially beat a progamer if I 5pooled him.
Your argument got worse sentence by sentence, until you ended with the golden "I could beat a progamer if I 5 pooled".

it just nice how all the khan fans make it sound like this format is perfect. if jangbi wouldve lost, then khan fans wouldve whined about the format. so seriously just let us the stx fans whine for a while till we all get over it, u dont even have to respond (talking to all the non-stx fans).

No, I'm pretty sure the Khan fan would have shrugged his shoulders and called it a day.

Must be confident against such easy opposition.
