Sangho's record is very, very decieving. Up until a few months ago he was TOTAL SHIT. He's undoubtedly playing the best SC of his life right now, and his PvP is pretty damn impressive right now. He's been winning games against Terrans (not Flash), and he's done some really questionable things against zerg (1gate expo against a scouted 9pool WTF???).

First instinct I was rooting for eSTRO, cause I usually pull for them, but I realized that Woongjin could really use a win here if they want to make the playoffs, and I'm would much rather see them make the post season for the first time in a looooooong while than I would like to see STX or SKT make it. So go Stars!

I think they were just joking... sometimes people just make up what they are saying to reflect how poorly or how good they played.

He is still very good at PvZ. The series was close, it's not like it was a 3-0 rape. I think zergs are just adapting to the new style of PvZ and getting a lot better.

They don't have any other options really. I think SangHo is the only player on their roster I'd give a good chance of taking out Free and he obviously isn't in any position to do so. It makes a huge difference because Zerg units only do partial damage to the Protoss ground unit main health but full damage to shields. It would be like lowering a standard units health from 250 to 80. It makes them ALOT easier to kill. Plus, nothing can heal or fix them.

Right. Humiliation would be more like MC'ling a drone a building a hatch inside your opponents main, or using one scout and dancing around with it so your opponent can see it.

I've seen players in these positions never do anything like that. Free knew he could waste money on scouts, and seriously, who builds scouts?! If he really wanted to stop drones mining he could have just built a shuttle and storm dropped. I think it was to kind of shove it in Actions face for being so lame and delaying the game.

Since when is mass carriers an attempt to humiliate your opponent? Most Protoss' do go arbiters nowadays, but mass carriers is perfectly viable.

Free's PvZ is so solid. He doesn't really go nuts with harassment most of the time, but he always somehow manages to get it done with that dragoon heavy army.

I thought he only did that to make it easier for him to finish the game. Scouts can attack anything, plus kill Ovie's pretty quickly, scout additional expos, and harass constantly. This makes it easier for free to also break into other expos and his main. Otherwise if Actions shelled up well enough, free might have lost a large force trying to attack.

i don't think i was very clear in my post's meaning. what i meant was that in that particular game free had a large advantage that he could have solidified through standard play yet decided to transition to mass carriers without pylon-ing up his stargates. his confidence in that game betrayed him and he lost.
although it ended up being a good thing as that was the proleague game where zero was thus able to take down both luxury and flash in the ace and a new zerg star was born.

i believe it's 4 teams for the winner's league and 6 teams for the regular proleague. with this win star's have pretty much secured themselves a playoff in winner's league but their standing in proleague (6th) still leaves something to be desired.
