8 teams? That's more than half of the entire pool of teams. That doesn't sound right.

That base was completely turtled up against ground units and the Scouts were an easy way to kill Drones. Right. Humiliation would be more like MC'ling a drone a building a hatch inside your opponents main, or using one scout and dancing around with it so your opponent can see it.

Free is going to own it up and take Stars to the finals. he attempted to humiliate flash with mass carriers once in a game he was far ahead in. this plan ended up backfiring when flash discovered that the majority of his stargates were powered by one pylon and launched one final attack that was able to overcome free's early game advantage and eventually won against free. i'd say that having free's confidence grow into cockiness and humiliation is what will keep him down.

I thought I had heard that from somewhere though. Anyways, does anyone know how playoffs go down? Is is like the best of 7, or more games than that?

Free knew he could waste money on scouts, and seriously, who builds scouts?! If he really wanted to stop drones mining he could have just built a shuttle and storm dropped. I think it was to kind of shove it in Actions face for being so lame and delaying the game.

Since when is mass carriers an attempt to humiliate your opponent? Most Protoss' do go arbiters nowadays, but mass carriers is perfectly viable.

Scouts can attack anything, plus kill Ovie's pretty quickly, scout additional expos, and harass constantly. This makes it easier for free to also break into other expos and his main. Otherwise if Actions shelled up well enough, free might have lost a large force trying to attack.

although it ended up being a good thing as that was the proleague game where zero was thus able to take down both luxury and flash in the ace and a new zerg star was born. here's the thread to add context to my post: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=82848¤tpage=9
