Because great is a very good ZvZ player who has been somewhat of an Andromeda specialist for KHAN, going 4-0 vZ on that map. You guys need to get over this 2009 hype in the way you perceive it - sAviOr is going to lose to some players who you think are "weaker" than him. He may be playing great lately, but he isn't infallible, and losing one game in 2009 doesn't mean that he will have failed.

Sure... and Savior has been playing amazing ZvZ lately.

I expect him to lose tonight... probably to FBH most likely. After he loses to FBH his slump will continue and we can all snicker at it? Very much doubt he'll lose to great though.

Savior > great
Savior < Odin
Much < Odin
Effort < Odin
Skyhigh < Odin

I honestly think that this will happen. Savior will wreck great and get everyone hyped, then Odin will come out and snipe Savior with a revolutionary ZvZ build.

After that, Odin will be on fire, and take out anyone CJ sends.

Great is not a "very good" ZvZ player. He is not a bad player, but he is definitely not a "very good" one. His ZvZ record chalk full of gamers who never get any air time (SKT and KTF zergs count for 6 of his wins vZ, and Hyuk almost took a game against him) while great gets completely COMPLETELY smashed versus more skilled players (the luxury game was worse On top of that, he gets spore colonies almost every damned ZvZ he plays while trying to tech to hive. The game luxury took from him didn't exhibit luxury's top notch ZvZ, it showed why great's spore-heavy strategy can just completely fall apart when on par with an excellent gamer, and sAviOr is an excellent gamer. Yes anything can happen, but it probably won't

I think that Savior will get over one more hump in his past. I know i'm going sound savior fan boyish when i say this but I believe that savior has already got over one of his humps in his past (bisu) and he will then prove to the world and get over another hump FBH.

But who knows, Savior may even lose to great for all we know, but i would hate to see savior get taken out before winning atleast ONE game.

Believe it or not, this has nothing to do with 2009 or that it's Savior who's playing. Imo Savior is just the clear favorite in this matchup. He has never lost to great before and his ZvZ has been stellar lately. I'm not saying that it's impossible that he might lose to great, but Savior is still the clear favorite.

I agree with fusionsdf. Great is pretty damn good at ZvZ, and Andromeda is his map. I don't think you can say who the favorite is between Savior and Great, as well as Savior has been playing lately.

I think Savior is doing better than Hades in ZvZ lately, but the map knowledge might very well help Hades to win.

I still wouldn't bet on him, though.

Great is seriously overrated as a Zerg sniper, he hasn't beaten any top zerg, except Effort and maybe GGPlay, and is 0-2 vs Savior(when Savior was still slumping)

I would love to see savior beat great, because sin chupung ryeong is a T favored map so Khan would 100% chose FBH. Great has been playing freaking amazing lately so it won't be a pushover.
