being a fan of performances is mostly bandwagoning. historically, winning means more following, and memorable moments are winning ones. mindless bandwagoning is the first moment of fandom, and every fandom has mindless bandwagoning to thank.

if you happen to like bad performances or mindlessly bandwagon according to nationality, moral character or shapeliness of facial features, good luck with your bandwagon bro. i'll just sit here and rationally derive my objective following with sound and valid arguments for the ages.
We have fed the heart on fantasies, the heart's grown brutal from the fare, more substance in our enmities than in our love

But he is a god!? He's like a living Protoss legend.[/QUOTE]

Careful boy, careful, the word God can only be used on sAviOr. and legend can only be applied to Jaedong, or the karma will get you.

God forbid Boxer or Anytime make an OSL again (ppl forget how fortunate Anytime was in his OSL run).

Umm i don't get it how was Anytime fortunate ? Did he get to play in a wildcard round or something after he was officialy eliminated like Bisu or something ?

nothing like that

tons of PvT to end his campaign - but I give Anytime A lot of credit - he came back the very next year and took it to Nada!

Bisu is more accomplished than Jaedong, and savior is the zerg god, while bisu is the protoss god.

<3 I feel exactly the same way about everything you said
Anytime's shinhan 2 run makes me angry even today =[

me too :/

I still remember reading the LR match vs Xellos and it literally came down to a drop vs drop situation where Xellos' vulture drop was THIS close to ending the game.

Anytime makes it to the finals and literally out of no where a billion protozombies crawl out of the TL.net soil.

and here it is with Bisu again. God I hate you people

1. Bisu isn´t exactly a one-starleague-wonder like Anytime.
2. Anytime showed during several proleague seasons that he is a much more consistent player than Casy or Sync, other one-starleague-wonders.

Has Bisu won an OSL AND placed second in another?

I could have gotten over the fact that Bisu just blamed the Map for his first OSL out..

BUT i could not that he said he did a perfect "Sim-City".. That was just a blatant lie from a player that got WAY to cocky.

I have nothing against cockyness... For me he could have said: "Well, i eat the wrong stuff this morning".. But blatantly lying? Fuck you.

Well apparently z>Bisu, people just noticed that too late and were still in the old mindset of Bisu>z.

Zergs have finally learned how to take advantage of the weaknesses of the Bisu build and cosair dt/ cosair reaver play. If you ask me I think protoss needs to learn how to do one base strats against Zerg again and mix it up with FE builds..

this

I'm thinking maybe more protoss should go heavier ground army, more like how Kal does it, instead of getting sairs and early reaver/dt tech. Or switch it up. A good ol' fashion cheese is always nice to see, but most tosses go standard nowadays. The biggest problem is that bisu is being predicable, kind of like how flash was with the early ccs. Its not necessarily the build itself, just the fact that he has to recognize the counter and somehow come up with a counter for that.

Exactly. Doing more cheese is probably a good idea but the ground heavy army I think is key to a renovation of Protoss play. Bisu is arrogant and will not change so I disslike him but whatever. The problem is that Corsair play is now countered so effectively it is not generally worth the investment. You remember the enormous Overlord massacres back when Bisu first revolutionized the MU. Doesnt happen any more. Corsair play relies upon the Zerg not adequately being prepared for it. Changing to a ground heavy army completely changes the dynamic and I suspect Zergs are not as skilled at dealing with it and also is not so dependent on a successful harass.

Social Justice is a fools errand. May all the adherents at its church be thwarted. Of all the religions I have come across, it is by far the most detestable.

Man shame bisu qualified, now savior would need to trash him once again in the near future so bisu stays in a slump forever.

Loving him or hating him(don't really understand why people are so passionate with these things,it's not like he is your brother or your best friend),we have to admit that he advanced to this OSL quite easy. That was the unexpected thing for me in this wildcard!

Bisu is a really good player who makes entertaining games even when he looses I will say i.e recent Savior vs Bisu or Flash vs Bisu on Katrina. I normally like him but his recent attitude just isnt acceptable in my mind. If he starts to loose a bit then I will cheer for him once more without feeling like a dog.

Stupid question, it's like asking if Anytime won 3 MSL like oov/nada/savior did, placed second in another one and got bronze in OSL. Don't even try. I like anytime but you can't compare his accomplishements with bisu's.

@Choros - maps also have a lot to do with it. If Protoss players can't FE on maps and have to resort to 1 base. 2 gate pushes would be standard again and you'll probably see a lot of lurker contain->rape plays that made protoss players complain to the high heavens even though Nal_Ra was cremating Zergs left and right.
