Predictions:
Stork > Kal This is a real tossup for me since both are amazing PvP but I'm going with Stork
firebathero < July This is out of pure fanboyism but firebathero will probably win
oDin < Calm Calm is the more tried and tested player of the two so good luck to him
JangBi > Hwasin I have no faith in Hwasin anymore and Jangbi is playing phenomenal.
ACE: Stork < Kal Stork has another game tonight but it's PvP so it wouldn't be terrible for him to play another game. Either him or FBH. STX will have either Kal or July.
STX 3-2

FBH + TvZ twice a week awesome
This should be crazy :D cant wait GO STX~!
Stork < KaL (Stork just cant beat the shank toss -_^)
FBH < July (Just no)
oDin < Calm (calms got a pretty good zvz)
JangBi > Hwasin (just cause someone will lose a game and hwasin is getting shit on lately)
JangBi < July (julys best mu and the odds are good to play vs a Toss and if they pick FBH he has a greater chance to win then everyone else besides maybe calm)

I think Khan will win 3-1, dropping the 3rd set.
I really love July, but it's hard to imagine July beating the best TvZer on earth ATM. Especially since he has only won 2 KESPA-sanction TvZ since April.
STX will probably play either July or Kal in the ace match and Khan will play Jangbi or FBH. It will prob be Kal > FBH, Jangbi > Kal, July > Jangbi, or FBH > July. I think STX will most likely play July and count on KHAN sending out Jangbi/Stork, since Medusa is such a death trap for Terrens. But if KHAN wants to risk sending FBH on Medusa, they might luck out and July/Calm gets chosen.
Calm has been playing phenomenal ZvT lately, so a Calm/FBH ace match would be awesome also.
Hope July sits on FBH if he wins
Stork FBH Calm Jangbi Jangbi>Kal for ace.
The usual suspects.
july is one of those players that tend to upset and win over ppl who are way better than him at the moment with his aggressive all-in like play, gain an advantage, then eco up and micro the shit out.
july>fbh
3 - 0 Could go both ways. But of course STX hwaiting.

Exciting games.
minus odin vs calm, obviously.

Jangbi play in gom tonight too. If it goes to ace it'll probably be FBH v. Kal, in which case I think it's a tossup. I really think Samsung will win 3-1 though, with Calm winning for STX.

Jaedong, Savior, Flash, Bisu

Stork v Kal Kal is too inconsistent, and Stork is playing very well atm, also, stork has better overall pvp.
FBH v July July won his golden mouse then went on a 6 month siesta at White Castle, FBH will rape.
Odin v Calm Calm is the better Zerg overall imo, he should take this one.
Jangbi v Hwasin Jangbi is probably the best PvT toss player out there and Hwasin isint a great TvP player. Jangbi should take this.

One thing very consistent about Kal is his ability to thrash Stork. Honestly, anyone who thinks Stork is going to beat Kal, has not payed attention to the Stork/Kal rivalry.

Why the fuck would they send July out on Sin Chupung-Ryeong? His ZvT is really terrible at the moment and it's a good map for Terrans to begin with.
July should be used exclusively for sniping Protoss players until he gets his ZvT working again.
I love July, but he doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell vs FBH.
3-1 for Khan.
Well, July has 1/3 chance of getting FBH as opposed to Stork or Jangbi. Khan players are pretty versatile when it comes to maps. FBH could've easily have played on Harmony instead.
This is hard to judge, because Kal is so inconsistent you just can't predict his games. If he loses to Stork, this one's over for STX. If he wins and we go to ace, I expect Jangbi vs. Kal or a zerg, in which case it's very hard to determine the winner.
One thing to note is that both Jangbi and Stork have GOM after this. So I think if the match lasts too long, FBH might be the only ace possibility left because of schedule conflicts.
Didn't notice Jangbi had a game as well, hmmm they might send either of them out there anyways. Stork is playing PvP against Backho tonight so extra practice isn't a bad thing :D I'll update prediction for Stork in ACE
if it goes to ace, khan will have to send a P since it's medusa. Kal has 11-1 stats on this map btw

I stand by my statement a primed july can take any of those players out. The fact is that they are 2-2 overall. I assume we're saying in a BoX series with both players at their best. Because if not, then anyone can be anyone else if enough things go their way. So, are you saying July > Jaedong when they're both playing at their best?

July hasn't really had the fire inside of him for a while (outside of ZvP). His win vs ggplay was his 1st ZvZ win since WCG.
Don't get me wrong, I want July to destroy FBH as much as the next July fan, but I'm not getting my hopes up :\

Prime July hasn't been around for a LONG time, although it does show up from time to time in ZvPs. Unfortunately, this is a ZvT, against the best TvZ player in the game on a Terran-biased map.

Although you have to factor into the new macro maps and the playstyle that doesn't bode well with July's low-econ flair.

it was all stork after the gas steal
No one LR? I'll try to summarize the first game then.
Kal top left. Stork bottom left. Both players scout in the right direction. Stork gas steals, Kal manner pyloned. Due to gas steal, Kal was forced to make 4 zealots, forge first. Then expanded Stork went 2 gate reavers. Stork marched into Kal's base and his shuttle reaver just wiped the floor with Kal's army. Kal GGs.

The gas steal fucked him up.

I'm not a Protoss player but it seemed like Kal sorta did the right thing in that game in the position he was in. He had less gas than Stork but more minerals. Seems like he just needed a few more cannons or something.

Stork runs over Kal effortlessly.

1 rine > command center from fbh

July rushes Lair, and FBH almost don't scout it. It looks like July cheated some lings there.
Somebody imitates FBH's crotch dance. FBH's going for an academy. 3 rax timing after expo to fend off the 2 hatch muta.
jesus christ that is long hair
However, July throws down a den.
July expands at upper right; takes second gas.
FBH throws down a thrid rax waits for muta to come. July snipes a SCV with 4 lings.
July skipped muta and it's pretty obvious to FBH it seems. FBH's looking to be aggressive.
July rips apart FBH's aggressive group of MnM.

July is trying to backstab, but messes it up.
Spire and Queen's nest going down for July.

2nd port going up for FBH. A few (2) muta out for July...

He fucked up that part HUGE, regardless of his intention.
a) Ensnare was originally meant for vessels when they try to irradiate the guardians, and the scourges can pick them off. Lost all scourges.
b) Ensnare was meant for MM so that guards can pick them off from afar, fucking up huge on both control and timing.

A little known fact is that queens infest command centers automatically, you just have to have it within the queen's vison range.

Wow, nice play by July.
Terrans certainly are pretty imba when it comes to defense. I almost thought FBH would pull another one out of his ass, but July made the right choice and expanded to solidify his advantage.
agreed, Cambium
July should have won then and there -- ensnare vessel, ensnare front of marine army, wait before queen. That would have been possibly the best midgame tactic ever.
By fucking up some small but important hings July pretty much set up the perfect come-back scenario for FBH. Notice that he produced NO more drones. Basically, if he didn't win in the next 2 minutes he was toast.
On the other hand, it's REALLY refreshing to see a Zerg plan for midgame superiority unlike every other ZvT, where Zergs will do anything to buy time to go to Hive.

We can really see how a better queen usage would have finished that game faster. An better ensnare would have completly destroyed taht mnm army, and infest would have killed off the CC. Queen owns!
Omg... this game was just so pimpely played by July! I just love his extraordinary low economy builds, and as he plays them it's just so great! But still.. respect to FBH, even though I'm a July fan, he played really well. I kinda thought it was over after that first guardians + lurks + lings go, but he defended well and was almost able to do a comeback. I was bibbering in those moment when it was looking good for FBH again :D So really well played by both!

July didn't expand to solidify his advantage -- he produced barely any drones to put to the expos. They were pretty bare -- he only used the expos for extra gas, which was indeed a brilliant move.
It was a closer game than ppl might think -- if FBH defended well and amassed a ball of rine+med+vessel, July wouldn't have had a chance. July played it perfectly with his lead, being ultra aggressive and preventing the ball from forming.
I was worried that by losing the game ppl would think "see, ensnare sux balls July lost cuz of ensnare". But if you look at the game, well-placed ensnares + queen infestation would have really made a HUGE difference. Basically, done right, Ensnare + Queen would have been awesome in this game.

Awesome build by July. Destroying that first mnm force gave him total control until his guardians popped. guardian lurker dream combo versus mnm. Like people said, slightly better use of Queen and game would have probably have ended in a pimpest play humiliation.
Still holding on to win anyway, especially after so many mutalisks got toasted, was again really fucking impressive.

Also, if you are a true T1 fan you will root against KHAN in almost all circumstances.

odin spire building, calm built second hatch, and spire late
What an insanely apm intensive build imo i mean managing a queen ontop of lurk/ling/guard and later defiler+muta aswell all at the same time. If you get a good muta harass off and have 350-450apm this is a great build to transition into i really loved how it even allowed you to make mistakes in a zvt which no other build does and still let you win i mean the ensnare/infest mostly failed and he lost 8 muta stack and then won the game 25seconds later. I love this build sooooooooo much.
Send the $100 as a gift. Or buy him a present first before sending it to him.
Second hatch going down for Calm, Spire down for Odin then Calm.
Basically, Odin's build allowed him to get all of his tech out faster, but Calm was able to cheat in a second hatch (before Calm's, he also threw down a second hatch).

There's going to be a bunch of muta out for both of them. HOWEVER, because Calm threw his hatch down first, he has more larva, and hence more muta.

I think the commentators are talking about lava because Calm saved a few more for mutas. Looks like he will have the bigger air army initially.

I think the key is that Calm cut his pool to get his gas faster to be able to throw down that second hatch faster. I have no idea how getting gas will help but Calm had 2 more muta than Odin when the battle took place. Didn't help that Odin busted out on some scourge.
I don't want to see Great in there either, his recent ZvZs have been turtling with spore colonies. Even when he wins it is unimpressive. IMO Juni is the best ZvZ KHAN has.

I think this might have been an issue of larva management - I think I noticed oDin making a few more lings than Calm, that might have left him with a few fewer larva when the spires popped?

All zergs are having problems now, hard to say. Samsung's pretty deep, too, so maybe Great has some OSL/MSL games to play in, I can't remember where Great stands in that respect, and January thought she could get away with not putting in an A team. Who knows, Samsung's been doing reasonably well.
I actually have no idea how the teams are doing right now. Does anyone have rankings?

Actually, Samsung and SKT1 (SKT1 more so than Samsung) have been doing reasonably well with terrible zergs. And Lecaf was going down last time I checked so it seems that having good zergs doesn't do much to augment a team. Who knows though I dont' know where any of the teams stand.
And Lecaf beat SKT1 with 2 Jaedong wins and STX might beat Samsung with two Zerg wins.

I kind of made that post in jest. In actuality, considering that Calm is STX's ace(or co-ace with Kal), it wasn't actually a bad idea to have your worst player face him. Note that Khan has the MU advantage in all other games.

Khan's #2, 1/2 a game behind Lecaf.
I have to think that they didn't expect zerg on this map, because Odin's ZvZ is just crap. They might've had him in there to snipe Kal perhaps?

What are you talking about? Stork in one of his two strongest matchups, Firebathero in one of his two strongest matchups, Jangbi in his strongest matchup, and the token throwaway zerg. Meanwhile on the other end, not one of the players is in his best matchup. Samsung looks more than on top of things than ever.

Obviously Stork > Kal, FBH > July, and Jangbi > Hwasin. Then there's ACE where you can put one of the top players.
Maybe Odin plays like a god in practise, but chokes due to lack of confidence in live matches. If only he got more wins under his belt he'd do better in the future thus strengthening the Khan roster. Sending Odin is just a calculated risk.

Eh, Lecaf only has Jaedong as far as good zergs. Of course, he's worth any other 2 zergs.
As far as Lecaf going down, I believe they're in 1st again now, or at least tied with Khan.

I have to think that they didn't expect zerg on this map, because Odin's ZvZ is just crap. They might've had him in there to snipe Kal perhaps?
Whoa, whoa whoa

To defend my original statement on a technicality, I don't think sending JD for Kal is a "snipe" as much as an evenly-matched pairing that was probably anticipated by both coaches.
Point taken about JD, but we do remember what happened the last time he played Kal

Jaedong's not fair, he snipes everyone. He takes out SKT1's two best vZ players, in back to back matches. I'm not sure SKT1 was supposed to do about that.

you know its really not worth looking into, and I dont think there can be "results" of seeing whether or not a queen auto infests a cc. It either does or it doesn't, there cant be data. Unless your joking?

I'm curious as to whether a queen will "auto-infest" a CC that's in its line of sight if that CC was above the required level of HP when it originally came into the queen's vision.

I'll try it with blind queens too. It might be that the auto-infest work even if there is no vision. The queen just checks for any infested CCs within a certain radius, maybe.

There's going to be another recall in Hwasin's main, I can see it coming. Nah, it's in Hwasin's third, but Jangbi just threw away all those units.

jangbi doesn't want to commit to any battles; his army would lose

Hwasin tries again though. Jangbi's going to flank and kill him, just wait.
Jangbi expands again to upper right (remember, he has lower right main+nat plus his original main).

Wow man, hwasin is nailing all those emps

still ~14 tanks pounding away

Jangbi can't defend both nat and main of lower right. Hm, Hwasin is going to expand there.
AHHHH EMP Hwasin is lookin' good. Has position over 5 o'clock.
would almost be more worth it to recall those probes out of his dead expos to continue mining at his top right.
Yes~ looks like Khan loses again!
Is Hwasin mining anywhere?
Jangbi is expanding again, He's goign to recall again.
Jangbi tries to recall again on Hwasin's army.

wow nice recall and stasis, but too bad hwasin as reinforcements rdy.

Pretty sexy Recall just went down...

Jangbi need some obs man, he's losing quite a lot of units to mines in the middle of the map...

both players have like no economy, hwasin with a military advantage.

wow... how do pros get such nice stasis and recalls? they always make the best of the spell. for recall is it better to target the ground rather than the middle unit?
wow hwasin messed that up

Arbiters are what 4 psi? Jangbi has 24 psi in arbiters.

probes joining the fight at bottom rights expo lol

hahaha wow jangbi has a shitload of arbiters, may as well use those to snipe as many tanks as possible

Basically, this game is terrible. They're both trying to attack and defend with armies that are really, really small because they couldn't defend their econ investments.
hwasin MIGHT be mining on two bases [if his 3rd is up] compared to 3 for Jangbi, soon to be two.

So ridiculous how JangBi was able to come back..

wow.... 6 arbs... just stasis the better half of hwasin's army and demolishes the other half.

hwasin has like six scv's mining...WOW. this is over

Jangbi razes both the bases in lower right, has 2 bases in upper right. Hwasin is making good use of Emps, and in general making Jangbi micro.

Jangbi did a fantastic recall in the beginning, and everything after that was pure crap. Then he finally realized that he needed to do some shit or Hwasin decided it's his turn to be sloppy. And then Jangbi won. Yay.
That was entertaining to watch though.
let me clarify/ he played well in the early to midgame

LOL, late late game Colloseum is so hard for terran if they haven't killed P. Arbiters are so abusive. Mech can't move fast enough. ~_~ Jangbi's PvT -_-;; lololol.

He wasn't even, really. Hwasin's EMPs were better targetted - Jangbi just had assloads of arbiters the entire game.

Yea, Jangbi's micro was so bad. Like both of them had so much energy it was hard not to use all that spell casting. Look how many of Jangbi's Templar were sniped or just didn't cast storm? Or the number of units that just ran into mines? That game was terrible terrible.

Jangbi had to micro his arbs to avoid emp so his unit control wasn't that great, esp during that first push. Hwasin had like 5 science vessels waiting to get that lucky emp on jangbi's arb clump.
Also, his 2 recalls into hwasin's 2nd expo weren't that bad. They at least came even since jangbi killed a bunch of tanks and scvs in both of them, esp the 2nd recall on the 2nd expo.

Jangbi basically takes a greedy build and gains a massive advantage. He hard counters Hwasin build. Like he could have not entered mid-game better. He sees the dropship tech, still lets it take down his fourth.
Jangbi then double expands to bottom left. Hwasin takes it down. At this point, Hwasin is ahead (I actually think they're about even) Hwasin double expands as does Jangbi.
They basically start stabbing at each other, like 10 units at a time, until Jangbi has 6 arbs and Hwasin has 4-8 vessels. They start spell casting each other with no fighting units. Jangbi eventually wins because Arbs can stasis AND do 10 damage and eventually goes on to win the game.

Sick double manner pylon by Jangbi. AND he gets Kal's probe.
hahahaha wow jangbi got 2 manner pylons and kal got none.... this is so bad for Kal now.

Jangbi double manner'd kal, and kal lost his scouting probe, and he added one more manner pylon trapping two more probes
kal is done
AND HE TRAPPED 2 PROBES IN THE BACK!
is that another pylon by Jangbi? That makes three.
FOURTH manner pylon. Somebody stop this guy.
added one more pylon right after it got destroyed.
now janbi has zealot raping probes inside kal's base
omg AND AFTER KAL KILLED 1 PYLON, JANGBI REPLACED IT
Jangbi's zeal's rallying in, Jangbi trying to kill probes. But they're all trapped behind manner pylongs, so he can't get to them.
hahaha omg crazy manner pylons
khan tosses are amazingly good... but without em, theyre pretty bad.
kinda like SKT, where bisu and best hold the fort, but the others still lose it.
4th manner pylon! New record?
Jangbi should have just gone all the way: double manner forge!
zealot killed 2 probes.
now janbi has two zealots raping one both sides, I think three probes have died in total.
J still has one more zealot.
Manner pylon still trapping a probe
Core-> gate for Kal (while this is all giong on).
I think Gate up for Jangbi, I don't think he has core though they didn't get a good shot of his base.
OMGGGGGGGGGGGGG PYLON MASSSSS
Wow, probe gets trapped behind minerals. What?
god, this is like a pvp nightmare when this kind of shit happens. may as well type gg if they get 3 good manner pylons and you cant do the same to them.
6 probes have died by my count.
J is upgrading range and making goons from two gates
one zealot still trying to kill probes
kill is on one gate

kal has slowned mining becuase of pylons and he just lost a few to zealot
Jangbi has core. Kal has range spinning and has finally cleared out his main. Jangbi didn't have range spinning though.
Kal going DT>
Kal just put down citadel of adun, going for quick DT as last resort.
junbi doesn't have robo up yet...

two gate ranged goons vs one gate range + citadel for kal
lol, Jangbi's been practicing his proxy plays since MSL finals it seems.
kal going dt as an attempt to surprise jangbi and get back in this. but a robo goes up for jangbi.
Osaka27156 Posts
robo for janbi now, its over
On December 28 2008 16:12 Fontong wrote: Jangbi should have just gone all the way: double manner forge!
Yea, I thought he was going to forge too.
Jangbi has 2 gates, range spinning, Robo up.
Kal has templar up.
janbi robo up, and is now about 1/3 done.
Should be in time if he makes ob right away
kal put down archive
J has a much larger army thanks to his superior econ.
Kal --> Dt's, Jangbi --> robo bay
Jangbi's range finished, and he has more units for some reason. Jangbi better not skip obs.
it could be gg right here actually...
5 goons vs 2 zealots + 3 goons
Osaka27156 Posts
shuttle before obs for jangbi
Whew. He made an observatory.
Kal is doing a good job pushing janbi back.
Jangbi is adding obe, should be okay for DT
Jangbi pushing kal all the way inside his base
Kal DT out, jangbi pulls back his goons.
Kal needs a fucking miracle.
dragoon vs. dragoon with nice micro is the best battle to watch in StarCraft. Overall, Dragoon micro is wonderful to watch, ranked second after shuttle/reaver.
Jangbi's small unit micro'ing for all it's worth. Secures himself a nice advantage. I think Jangbi delayed obs though...a little bit. Not much, he'll have obs out in time.
kal shows his dt's, he has basically lost. I cant see him coming back from this deficit.

he had two gates
Ooh, that was some tricky micro from both sides.
Kal expands at min-only.
Obe out, dt dies
Kal just threw up his second gate.
Jangbi shows that it takes two volleys from 10 dragoons to kill a DT.
Kal is so badly outnumbered.
Reaver. What an overkill this will be.
Osaka27156 Posts
a reaver in the butt will end it here
kal adds a battery and a third gate.
jangbi presumably building reaver, expanded at nat
reaver out, picked up by shuttle.
Kal in full defensive mode.
Jangbi has about 10 goons and a reaver against 6 goons + dt + battery
this should be over in a second unless jangbi forgets his obs and never notices a dt.
Reaver out for Jangbi. The expo for Jangbi will be up soon too.
Kal too high ground min only and set himself up in a defensive position in his main. Micro micro micro.

this is a rape and a half...
OMG, Jangbi is not moving out with his vastly superior army. I think he's waiting for reaver harass first.
My stream is slow.
hahaha WOW... that shuttle/reaver micro RAPED Kal so fucking hard.
Jangbi's going to handily take this battle and that will be GG.
Kal gg's. Jangbi takes Ace.
GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
RAPED since beginning...
Fucking janbi BALLER
FUCK
had to play kal on a day
4 manner pylons + zeal harass destroyed Kal's economy.
thank god zerg have creep
don't have to deal with this manner pylon crap
GG. Jangbi rapes Kal and his DTs.
Twin Toss Towers carry it through for KHAN.
A silver crown in addition to this ownage
Tossgirl looks good still
Holy shit! Jangbi's 3-0 this month in ace game. He's playing just ridiculous right now.
Kal raped by both of the twin cannons.
damnnn Kal got toyed with ;o
anyone got their money on pepe later today??
QUADRUPLE MANNER PYLON
SERIOUSLY THAT WAS SO BALLER
jangbi played ace and now hes off to play in gom, what a hero. ;]
That was a pretty thorough beatdown handed out by Jangbi. Congrats to him for getting the silver crown ranking.
Well, recommended games: I don't know about Kal-Stork, but July-FBH was really good and if you're into ZvZ BO's Calm-Odin was slick. The rest of them weren't really watching.
the samsung dragons rule the day
stx dragoon wooped twice xO
That's what STX gets for not putting out TUSHIN
HE WHO DEVOURS KHAN
FUCK!
You know the nice thing about creep, no manner pylons. July could have pulled a standard game out of his ass and played better than that.
4 manner pylons TT just gg right there
what's the highest ranking? gold crown?
FBH getting embarrassed and Kal going 0-2
A good day.

Why didn't they just play July again? Khan's got nothing for it.
On December 28 2008 16:19 Cambium wrote: what's the highest ranking? gold crown?
They would keep going I'm guessing. Each crown is ten wins, I'm assuming from what we have so far since whenever a player reaches 10 wins, they get a silver crown. 10=Silver<--I'm sure of this. 20=Gold<=Guess 30=Platinum<=Guess 40=Diamond<=Guess
apparently, games get evaluated (somehow) immediately after they are played.
lol replay, everybody left already

July probably only prepared one strat, and FBH would have raped July straight up...
Does this put KHAN into first or just behind Lecaf still?
Apparently the crown stuff isn't off straight wins.
I don't care what anyone says, I enjoyed Jangbi VS Hwasin, and if you heard the screaming during the latter half of the game, it's easy to see the masses of korean spectators enjoyed them as well

lecaf just killed ace 3-0

They should have put up Julyfat. Kal got beaten quite handily.

half a star per win, crown for ten wins and reset the star counter, pretty sure that is all that there is to it.

I think they were afraid of FBH being sent for ace and July not having a build prepared for Medusa (or maybe he was rusty in ZvP because he practiced hardcore ZvT for his game vs FBH or something).

The Samsung Dragons are breathing fire tonight, I almost feel sorry for pepe and Backho .
I know July is a risk since they had fbh, but with both stork and jangbi winning, Khan would be making a hell of a gamble to put fbh out there. Maybe its decided before hand, but in hindsight July is the really obvious choice.

Shoulda put july in. I've been saying it all night >_>
Any fucking way, July goes to 8 wins 4 losses in proleague, and has a great game versus one of the top three tvz terrans. He is looking good, I think he can go far in OSL again.
July wasn't set up to take another game tonight. He had a special build prepared against FBH but that stuff really isn't made up on the spot anymore. He had to practice that build many times and he wouldn't have been able to work the same magic in a different matchup, a different map, and a different game.

Yeah there is map balance to consider, but July's game versus protoss has been probably the best in starcraft, ehh sour grapes. fuck it.

In interviews most players say they dont individually practice very much for ace match its kind of a wingit thing so July would have been fine.

Yeah, pretty much sums it up. Jangbi played that game zerg-style and just put up bases faster than Hwasin can take them down. Freaking ridiculous what godly macro allows you to get away with.

Good job KHAN : 3-2
July win vs FBH ? I go to watch the torrent on yaoyuan O_O;

July used the same build Gorush used vs Savior on destination I think based on what I read in the live reports.
Khan protoss to the rescue! Looking forward to the FBH July game VOD though.
Why not july as ACE player vs such a protoss heavy team? O_O Then again shity protoss favoured ace map.
sad that stx lost Hwasin was so close to end this all. I can't understand why they never take july.. he wasn't an ace player for ... 1 year? I think he's a pretty strong player and especially in ZvP he has big chances of winning.
Damn i wanted July in the ace match . Never doubted him even for a second againts FBH . I knew that he would rape FBH the moment i saw that he was matched against him , because The God oF War spares no one , not even FBH .

ya i only came in when it was equal bases and jangbi threw away 4 groups of units and 3 arbiters for 20 scvs, i mightve missed something before that.
Idra you forget to mention that jangbi had 3 bases up and running very steady while doing the recalls on the 2 expo's of hwasin that killed a ton of scv's and a decent amount of vultures, effectively keeping hwasin in his base. Meanwhile Hwasin spends time attacking an expansion that jangbi didn't even need at the moment anyway, and spends way too much time there. By the time hwasin attacks jangbi's natural jangbi already has 2 expansions at the bottom up and running.
Hwasin never really came close to gaining an edge, when he finally wreaks havok at the bottom at the 20 minute mark he leaves his base behind way too vulnerable.
