He is the BEST aggressive player, but he isn't that great. His strategy and macro are lacking Esp in zvt. ZvP he is an artist, on a low econ canvas, against top pro's he never plays a macro zvp and there is a reason for that. I think Julyzerg is good enough to win any league with the right groups, he is not better pound of pound (hehe) then thezerg or effort. All my opinion of course  July is way beyond mediocre 5 osl finals 3 titles you cannot call someone like that mediocre. You want macro zvp go check july v best game 3 osl finals, or zvt check july v sea in their first meeting although it was awhile ago i watched it live and that game gave me chills. He just knows that his major strength is micro and tries to capitalize on that in particular frequently, the other areas of his game are not weak he is just is insanely confident in his control. EDIT: He is sometimes plagued with a bit of overconfidence though. | ||

I don't think beating luxury in a bo1, rock in a series, backho in a series and best in a series is a great accomplishment. Yes you can judge players by results. For 2 years julyzerg has always been a top 30 gamer but never a good one. He got one league where everything went his way. Sorry but as much as I like him he has a few definate strengths but he will never be a top zerg again and thus regardless of his great micro and timming he will fail to the top few zergs,toss,terrans consistently. | ||
