That sounds like a good game. Where can I watch that? I checked the Sharp vs. best foreigners videos on Zero's Twitch channel but there was only one game between Bonyth and Sharp and Bonyth lost that one. No carriers either.

Check out great video about Bombastic 25th Anniversary LAN made by SaiyanSC
I feel like most of the people viewed this event through the eyes of the drama, but it was actually an amazing event and in this video you can feel the spirit of it.

I mean, looks like people at the event didn't really have a problem with the situation and people online were making a much bigger deal of it than the people attending. So it's definitely unfair that you've taken the majority of the damage here and I agree to some extent you're a victim of the situation.
That being said, some of what you said in your post in the other thread mischaracterizes things a little bit IMO and doesn't sit right. (and apologies to mods for mentioning this here but the other thread is locked and I believe what I'm saying is different from what's already been said)
What about the fact that your actions caused me to lose $200/mo+ on the Patreon and who knows how many potential viewers ?
Not to mention that no one gives a shit about the event, production and the games, but everyone is focused on this shitstorm
What actually happened was that someone with an issue made a thread (with no threats or insults, just asking for more info in a reasonably polite way) it in an open forum where the organisers could see and reply, but then one of the main organisers called them a "dumb lizard brain". Like I said, what matters most is how people at the event feel, not what random people online think, so how hard would it have been to say something more professional like "thank you for bringing it to our attention, we will check in with the people attending and make sure everyone is comfortable"? Like yeah people went nuclear with creating the followup thread but blaming it on them is wrong, since what prompted that was a combination of your silence on the issue plus the other organiser escalating things unnecessarily and turning it into an argument of morals and ethics which at the end of the day wasn't really relevant.
To repeat what I said above, it's true you've suffered as result of this but I don't agree the event was "ruined" by the "coalition of people" against you, when it was actually "ruined" by the actions of the other organiser.
He should apologise to you (and the community), not for inviting rapid, but for allowing the mess to fall on you by acting unprofessionally, and for creating the whole "shitstorm" in the first place by escalating things when it could have been squashed.
Rapid was removed the very next day, so any following dramas afterwards were really unncecessary, didn't help any victims or potential victims. It was selfish of people, who, in their eyes, had the right to receive an answer immidiately, as if removing Rapid wasn't a hint of an answer already.

All due respect, but i think Bony as a Player personally involved in the scene and present at that LAN understands the situation quite well. Perhaps quite a bit better than you and i do. Oh btw he is polish...
This drama vs Zzzero was uncalled for and way out of proportion. He does not defend Rapid, he cancelled Rapids casting on day 2 and made a statement accordingly. After that, SOME of the users here were not interested in justice for Rapids victims, not at weighing Zzzeros response in a sensible manner, but in a witch hunt.
Or to be blunt: some users used this drama in a despicable manner to voice their personal, childish, non related resentments against Zzzero as a person and the russian and polish community as a whole. I fail to see, from a certain point on, how the "discussion" was advanced by the drama and how it helped the girls that Rapid harmed.
I see only shit beeing thrown at a longstanding community figure for petty shit and from a very entitled perspective.
To be clear, i think Rapid is a despicable guy, no word of defense for him will be uttered by me, but criticism against Zzzero was way out of proportion.

That btw is racist or at least discrimating. What is the russian/polish block please? Are all polish and russian people the same? A faceless mass who share the same thoughts? Not individuals? Do they not have each their own personal believes and convictions?
for anyone who hasnt gone through this type of work, they really have no understanding or appreciation of what it is like, and how much sleep you can lose over it.
I have organized several international trips for around 14-15 students through a university club. is incredibly stressful and exhausting. it is not a trivial task. it consumed almost 6 months of my life. but was very rewarding.
so, sincerely, thank you for your efforts, and for working so hard to support star1. congratulations on an amazing tournament and LAN. hope to see you again in 2024.
Obviously there had to be a a bonus "ultimate boss'' battle with a well known korean pro, so how come it was Sharp? Was he invited? Did he "invite" himself? If he had been sponsored for this, i am sure a lot of other korean pros would have wanted to fill in the role of the "bonus boss" and get paid for that. Surely he came on his own accord?

the people who care (you know, the people who actually play the game?) were having fun in Thailand, not sitting on an internet forum.
