Finally a good group. I could see any of Rush, Free or Mong advancing. It would be a surprise if Horang2 advanced or Rush did not.

Free goes for an attack on Rush's third just as Zealot legs kicked in. It didn't work out so well. Rush now in a comfortable position.

Free faked back stabbing Terran's natural, then sets up a pincer attack on Rush's forces right outside Free's natural before Rush could kill a base! What a turnaround!

Now Rush is heading towards the left side of the map, where Free has his two freshest bases. Rush attempting to cut the map. Now Free's 10 o'clock getting shelled by tank fire.

Rush keeps reinforcing and finally takes out Free's 10 o'clock (which Free immediately remakes). Rush has control, as his reinforcements were able to stabilize his position. Free on the ropes. Rush with +15 supply lead.

Horang2's whole strategy was setting up a neck-breaking attack. Now his early game eco lead is down the drain and Mong is in a great position to cut the map in half. Huge recall from Horang2 in the main though...

Mong is prepared for Horang2's third recall (second on the 3rd) and cleans it up well. Horang2 playing an anti-meta, old school tried-and-true PvT style.

I know I somewhat said this before but the map choice for this season is really fucking Protoss over.

They give players the choice between Allegro, Odyssey and Arkanoid. Of course P can't play Arkanoid and T will ban the other map, so they end up playing Allegro which is the 1st ban map for Protoss last season whether it's PvT or PvZ.

It's like I will give you a choice between worst and worse than worst.

maps should be pre determined for the ro24 anyway, imo.. since it's a bo1

pretty bad change, I have to say.

He probably watched the replay of the 1st game and saw that Horang2 didn't go out for early map control at all and decided to go for hidden base.

Yeah I was talking about the map choice in winner and loser matches specifically.
As for the whole map pool, it's definitely best for Zerg.

Nice adjustment from mong in the last game. Horangi has that really strong early max but Mong countered it pretty well with the hidden expo and strong defensive play.

Mong you dirty terran! I remember you used this trick to get greedy ninja CC on Circuit Breakers years ago, now this time it really paid off. I think Mong is only terran who does this too often.

Rush was on his level and wasn't fucking around. Rush is contender for a winner this ASL if he won't get matched vs. Light.
